Look, I am not JUDGING Mary Mary, I simply stated that I no longer let my children listen to them because they do not rightfully divide GODs word. I'm sure they are down to earth beautiful women, but everyone who says Lord Lord will not enter the gates of heaven. Also, Music does matter. Music is a form of communication. You cannot put any music to gospel lyrics and say it is glorifying GOD especially if the music is typically used for evil. Eg. Club music. Do u love hip-hop or GOD most?

I have to agree with bigjheazy on this one. I used to listen to Mary Mary when I was not saved, but once I started to study the word, I found that they are not on the right track and I had to stop my daughters from listening to them and had to show them in the Bible why, in many different instances. I dont believe its on purpose. They really just dont know. Once you are saved, you are reborn and the old (hood) you dies. Well they still seem to embrace it and you hear it in their secular music.

Its called life! The Bible tells us that we are to be separate from the world, as Christians. Jesus didn't commission His disciples to preach about repentance. He told them to preach about the things he has commanded us. What did He command us? Matt 22:37, 39 gives us those commandments. Love God and Love your neighbor. Mary Mary are doing exactly what Jesus told them to do. They represent Love as ambassadors for Christ.

Matt 28:19,20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. What did Jesus command? Matt 22:37,39 Jesus said to him, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind...You shall love your neighbor as yourself." I don't know how much you read your bible, but according to Hebrews 13:8 Jesus christ will remain the same yesterday, today, and forever more. Just b/c people change, doesn't mean God does.
