  • is this psu still anygood ? =)

  • Nasty for a first rig man. Keep up the good work.

  • Do you think i can overclock a i7 2600k to 4.5 ghz with a Asetek 570LX Liquid Cooling system and still have safe temperatures..??

  • hi what temps does your asetek 570lx give you on load and idle, thanks

  • @greeny151

all cores - 21.5 idle and 55 load @ 4.2Ghz 24/7. room temp is 71 degrees. using prime95 it reaches 80 degress with my overclock at 4.2ghz, which is too hot for me.

check out asetek's new waterchill 2011.

this will be my next radiator.

  • pretty sick pc dude. I think i will make a video of mine soon (:

  • Hey dude are you booting off of the revo drive??? I have essentially the same setup as you same mother board same revo drive same ram lol. I Can not get Windows 7 64bit to install on the revo.

  • pretty sick, i7 3.8 ghz :D and 12 GB of RAM ? wow.. Nice.. But the videocard could be updated ;).. Anyways awesome pc !

  • @OrRkaz - hoping for crossfire HD6970's depending on price (hoping $400 per)or i might do mid range crossfire hd 6870's and go high end when the 28nm chips come in 2011.

  • @supremefive nice !

  • @supremefive a little cheaper for the new 6970, newegg has them now, at $369.99

  • @supremefive get xfx 6850 300 $ each crossfire thats what i did i get excellent performence

  • @jockeyl4d2

too late, already on my first 6970 :)

  • @OrRkaz -BTW - Three Way Crossfire HD 5770 is faster than a hd 5970 and cfx hd 5850's nvidia sli 1gb 460's and a single 480. consumes less power too :) :0

  • @supremefive what faster then 5970??

  • Nice setup

  • what temp does the asetek 570 LX keep your cpu at please let me know

  • @alienthurandthur -- it depends on the motherboard - my asus p6t7 is 22-28 idle and 56 - 63 Load @ 3.6 -3.8ghz depending on out side temps. my asus is a hot running motherboard btw, because of the two nf200 chips, north bridge and southbridge are in one area, under the supercomputer heatsink. my msi eclipse sli on the other hand loves the asetek 570lx - the temps on it stay at a low 21 idle 45 load at 3.6ghz overclock with 95 prime stress.

  • I would say dont go for a 950 or new 2000mhz RAM you wont notice too much difference from yout current setup which is beast.

Wait till Sandy bridge/ ivy bridge or AMD Bulldozer.

  • @PC4Free - while 1866mhz ram is fast, 200 mhz ram will give me a stable 4.0ghz overclock - that is why i choose the 950, i didnt think sandy bridge was going to have new cpus for the x58 platform. if the i7-970 six core cpu drops in price i may go for it!!, thanks for the suggestion.

  • dont waste ur money on a new i7 quad core just for the multip.ur 920 is perfectly fine at 3.8GHz.all the other upgrades are awesome though.i'd suggest staying with this cpu and later on,byu the 980x.
