The mentioning of a professional murder brings to mind R. Kuklinski(The IceMan)'s oft repeated boast of dropping a random stranger with a crossbow just to see how well the weapon worked. Similar scenario, similar mind?
Usually when someone stabs someone else to death, and stabs the victim a lot of times, it usually means the killer knew the victim and wanted to make the killing intimate (close up) and the number of stabbings starts to encroach on "overkill", which also tends to point towards a personal motive for the killing. 19 stabbings might not be enough to be considered overkill, though.
@jazzscherzo I think you may have nailed it. Maybe someone that doesn't like the real estate industry, because of arbitrary pricing or whatever and resented having to settle for looking to share housing, and lost control in Colorado again. Yikes. Look out for a dude with a cane if you're looking for a roommate or try to sell a house!
I saw the guy leaving the audience but keep in mind this is just a reanactment. I personally believe he was a victim of a "professional hit" by rival realtor or by an unhappy customer. Good upload!!!
I always thought it was interesting that a guy in the audience at the beginning shakes his head and leaves the award ceremony. It's as though they wanted to imply that someone was upset about his win. Any thoughts?
@mlc2005 yeah i noticed that right off the bat too. it was like, he was up there, getting his award, from his wife who was praising him, etc. and that guy jumped up all jealous mad.
So sad, but why would some random guy kill Mike? Which is why I'm thinking that the killer knew Mike somehow

I'm guessing this sure dropped the value of that home!

His name was Gary Krueger. If he was still alive today, he would have been guilty of first-degree murder.

This case was solved recently.
The person who killed Mike died by Drowning in 2010.

@CheapJabroni Good investigate thinking, bro, but I have an alternate theory
Look at Stack's stifled smirk at 1:50-1:53
Old man cane, always surrounded by creepy mist, air of invincibility?
STACK DID IT

They show the rival realtor walk out of the award ceremony but never probe this further. Rather mischeivous and pointless.

That's odd that they did that in the reenactment. So what about side dealings he might have been into or something like that?
