  • What you have served you to the caterpillar?

  • Why did you decide to just use one of the tracks rather than both? I have a set that I am interested in trying this out with. I just need the torque converter and start to figure out the logistics of it. I would like to use both tracks though. My only wory is it getting hung up in softer snow. What do you think? Anyway, this is a sweet ride. I hope you have kids to share your imagination with.

  • @ruggsterg you could do the 2 tracks but i only had one and wanted a slim sleek look, plus its not like rteagular wheels that roll easy, you will have to pull it or carry it around unless its under its own power!

  • @rarebikes88 So theres a lot of drag on those tracks? Do you find that it really bogs the motor down? It must be tough on gas. Not that economics is a factor. But how does that affect your chain drive. That is a lot of stress on the chain. Are you working on any other projects?

  • hehe KILLER!! ; ) Ever since I saw one of those snow bikes Chrysler made back in the 60's, I wanted to build somethin like that, or convert a dirtbike over.. What did ya use for the track?

  • @theGHETTOMAN1 its off a snowblower

  • @rarebikes88 ; ) Cool ! My kid had a ket-cart gocart and we toyed with the idea of useing 2 of those on the back, and poppin the 2 speed moped motor in it..lol I should have!! I'm gonna look into gettin 1 of those trax. Thanx man! ; D *thumbs up*

  • and in deep snow?

    i like it

  • supper charge it...

  • Yea cause bennyzee45 didn't get that from the top comments :P Fucking fags these days

  • Awesome !

  • i made somthing like this exepet i callled it the snow hoe

  • are you fucking kiddin' me? :O is it made out of parts ? :O

  • @haarmanen Its made out of parts from other things. Yo cant just go out and buy one of these in any way.

  • that's pretty sweet!!

  • how fast can it go ?

  • sweet now get it liscensed and drive it on trails, ha..... cool invention.

  • i have wanted to do that for years now just havent found an old snowblower with tracks to use yet i made a set of chains for my tires on my baja it has a 6.5hp so it wouid get no traction in the winter

  • i have a baja 50cc dirtbike and am going to make it like this but with a snowboard and im going to stud the back tire so it will go way faster then this cuz it rips ass and ima get coustom decals saying icefucker and have ir semen white for the color lmao

  • neat

  • i want to make the same thing but faster and bigger can you make a tutoral so i can gets some ideas

  • where did you get the track for the back wheel? im thinking of making an 80cc snowmobile this winter my self.

  • badass man!!!! Widen the front and you'd be in buisness! You could sell these things man.

  • That it awesome and I want one!

  • oi dude where did u get the back wheel or what ever its called

  • id buy one of these. no doubt

  • that is the pimpest thing ive ever seen. keep it up screw the haters.

  • coming to a store near you

  • Good job. Don't mind the haters, they're just poor and will never know what fun is really about.

  • thats bad ass im thinking abouut doing it to my mini bike and calling the snow hoe

  • @mudking248 thats a good one!

  • @rarebikes88 how did you motorized the tread

  • Very Clever and well thought out. I would love to try something like that.

I am right now thinking of what to do with 2 snowmobile hulks. Keep at it. 5 stars!!

  • that is awesome .. keep up the good work.. bet kids would love to have one.. hell u could make and sell those one day ...

  • Thats awesome - ha ha ha ha. I want one

  • As this was a couple three years ago, just curious how the track held up. Also, what did you use for bogie wheels. My snowblower has plastic wheels for the tracks, I'm sure those wouldn't hold up long.

  • Why does everyone have to be an ass and rag on this? There's a lot of thinking involved and some fabrication involved. Smart idea on the snowblower track. When I do my driveway with my Honda I always think about what else you could do with those tracks. Cheers!

  • @dalesworld I know there are alot of jealous people out there, Idont care what they say. Its funny to read what they say then go to thier page and find out all of thier videos are of them playing video games?

  • Neat ride.. But who was faster you or the dog running.. Lol.. Just razz in ya. That is a cool toy

  • all give you 700

  • Well, I know what my project for the winter is going to be. That thing is awesome!

  • damn is it made of parts??

  • @mattiash Well the frame was a trail horse minibike, the engine i think was off of a preasure washer? The comet clutch was new. the track came from a snow blower. i made the skis, rear end, drive sprockets. there was alot of work and makeing parts to get it right.

  • @mattiash

hahahahahahaha, its ok. i got your joke.

  • @mattiash

Things tend to be made of parts.

  • dude get a bigger engine yer dog can run faster than that pile of junk...

  • @operationguillotine1 I know right? Listen why do you build something from scratch, i didnt build it for speed. I am sure if i wanted it to go 75 mph i could make it happen! COULD YOU?????

  • the snow bith of OE KINKYYYYYY

  • I started to build a track for my bicycle...but i think im going to put it on my schwin scooter because i have everything i need to put a 3hp briggs on it and i just need a ski to put on the front

  • Hey i was wondering if you could send me the blue-prints or the drawings to me, my cousin and i found a old mini-bike frame and handelbars we rumaged around and found a motor and some snowmobile tracks, we was gonna put it together so send me an e-mail at Kaiser2797@aim.com and maybe you could give us some ideas...great build

  • nudy

  • wow they wouldn't mind having this on dumb and dumber when harry met loyde, one for the summer and one for the winter lol

  • That looks like too much fun! I'd love to have a go on that! we'd never get enough snow in the UK though, certainly not these days.

Great build, looks like it works really well!

  • that really kool

  • thats funny

  • ok (MazQ95)

  • But how did you built the track ?

  • sweet

  • its cool, but why the snow bitch?

  • @mrtheroosterdude why not

  • @mrtheroosterdude good question, well it was alot of testing and fine tuning to get it right and i had to do all the work in the cold weather. It wasnt fun building it and tearing it down in a small non heated garage, i guess if i had a better working area it might have been easier? It was just alot of trouble to get it all right!

  • @rarebikes88 Oh I get 'cha, well thought out name.

  • @mrtheroosterdude I think i have answered this before, but it was snow bitch because it was alot of work getting it together and making everything right, and working out side in the cold sucked and was a bitch!

  • lol

  • is that a cat mini bike, the gas tank looks like it? nice conversion by the way.

  • holy shit! cool!!! snowblower tracks? my dads John Deere 826 has little tracks on it...

  • now I have the 110cc engine

  • I'll put 110cc engine to it out of cross bike :). I have the tracks but not the engine jet I also have the sprockets. The track is out of STIGA snowblower.

(I'm from Finland, so my language isn't maybe the best)

  • mäki oon suomest :)

  • you inspired me too! I' m going to do it as school metal work project

  • very cool if you need any pointer let me know i am gonna build another one this fall, and will be posting vids too

  • how much did it cost you and where did you get the track

  • @rarebikes88 does the track have grousers? like on a real snowmobile?

  • dude, my brother made a wedwacker powered bike, and the thing was awsome except for the time factor and rear sproket, other then that, it was pretty rad,

  • what did you use for the tred

  • its off a snowblower, i feel like a broken record

  • hey man you in spired me to make one of those an\d i just wanted know what you used for the tack in the back??

    thanks-isaiah

  • it is off of a snowthrower, you can find them onb ebay or mabey at a mower shop

  • how much would they coast?

  • haha thats pretty sick

  • Snowbitch, huh? probably frigid...

  • the tread is a track from a old snow blower my freind has one

  • whar did you use for the tread?

  • I hope they didn't use war for tread that would be trajic

  • very, very cool

would love to know how the drive train works.

  • sweet i have the same engine.

  • thats cool. what did u use 4 a track?

  • a old shoe

  • nice, i was thinkin about using a snow thrower track and my spree to make something like that. is that a track from a thrower?

  • awsome

  • thats so cool show how u made it

  • kl video

  • that is awesome

  • Way cool! Of course, down here in Florida we have no use for such things, because we get no snow down here! But Very Cool... If we ever lived up North again, I would want to buy one! - Good Luck with it!

  • Pretty Cool

  • where did you get that track

  • thats cool

  • needs a bigger engine...

  • I sold this one and i am making a bigger one this year

  • awesome!

  • that is cool

  • "i made this from parts"

    wow

    i wrote this with words

  • lol

  • dick, I mean it was made from different parts from different bikes, and a snowblower. Want me to go on dickhead

  • win.

  • that is awsome

  • could you tell me the way you set up the track on that and is that a torque converter or a centrifugal clutch on it

  • It has a tav 30 on it. the motor is just a 4hp honda with not alot of power but it did cruise. I made the rear sprocket from a large one and a small one for a 5/8's jackshaft i welded them together. Wait till you see this years snowbike!!!!

  • in 1978 i put a chain on the back wheel of my mini and 10 inch ski on the front and in the worst storm in chicago i was the only thing moving --i was 10 years old what a blast --great job on yours --make them and sell them --you'll be rich

  • dude that thing is AWESOME!! (wouldent trust that OHC engine though, i would put a big at least 8hp honda, you know, the old GX series.

  • sweet vid thx for posting

  • cool

  • What a great idea!!! Awesome

  • are you using a drive chain, or pressure between two belts?

  • Thanks for sharing that ingenious concept. I have been looking around at various motorized mini vehicles. Yours is simply bad-ass! ranking top of the list. Keep on creating.

  • Dude thats sick!!! I want to build one of those but i dont know how to set up the track...

  • rofl man you've gotta be canadian!

  • no not canadian but i get board in the winter and wanna ride. i sold this bike but am building a better one this year and will have some video when its done.

  • nice man, i look forward to it, also good to see that it's not just us canadians that love to screw around in the winter either:P

  • that thing is wicked cool and nasty

  • thats soo sick dude!
