  • VERY cool! I can place almost all the films - but I'll be shot if I can place the clip at 1:50 - any help? In fact, is there any chance of the creator of this actually listing what films were used?

  • @DrDespicable 1:50 (the color shot) - from Dr Cyclops (1940). Might post a list someday. :)

  • @sidb64 Wow - really? I've seen that, but have no recollection of that scene. Thanks, though! A list would be awesome!

  • @sidb64 Please post a list when you've got the time. I really enjoyed this video. I've seen quite a few of these, but would like to see more. I also love the Title Screen section of your website.

  • Impressive images! Does anyone know recognize the second clip shown? The devil? What film, it's amazing.

  • @monstoys That's from Faust (1926)

  • @sidb64

    THANKS! That devil IS impressive!

  • Wowwwwwwwwwww...Creepy,Chilling and Timeless Horror!

  • this vid looks like their related to the adams family

  • doesn't anyone know what song is playing throughout? it's really great. Goes with the clips so well

  • @Kidkerplunk It's actually two audio tracks, and it should be fairly obvious where the first one ends. The second actually runs the entire length of the video but is mostly quiet until the percussion. The first is from composer Wojciech Kilar, at the moment I can't recall the name of it. The second is from the movie Mirrormask, soundtrack available on La-La-Land Records, go buy. :)

  • What movie is the crazy neck-brace guy from (1:16 in)?

  • @TheTarmanCometh

That's Peter Lorre in Mad Love

  • The guy with his mouth sewn up? That's from "Murders in the Zoo". If you mean the clip before it, with the shadowy figure in the bedroom, that's "The Vampire Bat".

  • What movie is that at 1:35.

  • Fantastic! Great collection of classic horror clips put together so well with such a dramatic music score. Kudos to you and thanks for the memories. This was sharp!!

  • An amazing video with a great choice of music! The Silver Age of horror movies maybe gone, but thanks to people like you Mr. Hill, you will help keep it alive for future generations to come! I will definitely be checking out your book.

Best of luck on you books! Take care!! :-)

  • Great !!! Video !!!

  • Brilliant images. Good music too. Will be showing this on Halloween. Many Thanks .

  • Fantastic. Nope, they sure don't make 'em like that anymore, more's the pity.

Actually, they probably wouldn't know how to make 'em like that anymore!

  • very cool stuff

  • They don't make them like that anymore! Great stuff!

  • Nicely done, Steve!
