Just one question. I notice you don't do a circular motion with your blush, but rather brush straight back. I've been doing circular, does it make a difference? Also, I use mineral blush powder, my dilemma is that I put some on the brush obviously, and the cheek I start on always has more red than the other and then I'm playing catch up. Any tips to help get stuff evenldistributed? I ilked how you did a little foundation for one side or the other. I think that helps get even distribution

@familiaherrera1 that used to happen to me too. have you tried tapping off extra product off the brush? it also helps if you start applying blush from the back of the cheeks then blend it forward.

Do you find that the Bare Minerals clings/grabs to liquid or cream concealers that you use underneath? I sometimes don't use my cream concealer products before applying Bare Minerals foundation because in the past I have noticed that you can notice where you've applied bits of concealer before the minerals... even when I have blended the concealer in completely.

Have you tried using the BM Matte "wet"? I use a really dense kabuki and spray it with toner before stippling the product onto the brush... it gives me full enough coverage that I don't need concealer (and I have pretty bad acne scarring).

@JennyMichelle85 Not necessarily, but MV does provide a finish that it more matte than just the foundation alone. It helps to control shine and makes pores appear smaller. I don't ever go without it personally, but it's totally up to you whether you use it or not.

I'm a BE Make up consultant and one of the reasons we suggest mineral veil which comes in many different types (illuminating, hydrating, SPF 25, tinted, etc..) is as a "finishing touch". It helps to set your foundation and minimizes the pores on your face. The illuminating mineral veil gives off more of a shimmering effect or glowing and the hydrating has water in it to keep your face hydrated. Different mineral veils give different effects.

@JennyMichelle85 the mineral veil is up to your preference. I am a Bare Minerals MUA it does help set the foundation. Alot of people like to use it to touch up during the day to cut the shine. I love the difference in the finish with the Mineral Veil. it softens the finish to almost like an airbrush finish. i definitely recommend that you try it with and without to see your preference.

@JennyMichelle85 sorry it didn't work for you, there is also a hydrating mineral veil but as an MUA I can say without a doubt that everything doesn't work on everybody's skin. I hope you found something that worked for you!:)

@JennyMichelle85 I think you should hydrate your skin first with hydrating lotion and drink lots of water. Your skin is too dry if it's not working well. Use the original BM. Also, make sure that you are using it correctly because when I first used BM I hated it because I thought it didn't give me any coverage, but now that I am using it the right way, it gives so much coverage, more coverage than any of the 50 brands of liquid foundation I have tried! Buy the Buki Brush for $20 with a handle.

Do you mind sharing what tinted moisturizer do you use? I use Everyday Minerals, but would love a good tinted moisturizer to use under it. Right now I use Aveeno moisturizer, but there's no tint to it.

No it hasn't broken me out at all, thank goodness! It is so hard to go by what other people say ( I know that is one of the main reasons people watch videos on here to get others opinions) when it comes to skin type!! I heard that it helped clear people's skin so that's why I bought it! It hasn't cleared up what I already had... if that makes sense but it hasn't caused me to break out... also I don't use it everyday... I use maybe twice a week... so it might be different if I was ONLY using it!
