@hallaA7x I live out in Chilliwack.. we decided to take a trip to Victoria instead of going to the Can Nationals. The judge from there was the adjudicator at our Lions Festival at the end of the year and we played "Tempered Steel".  The guy told us were in his top 5 favourite bands that he's heard in years.

Memories........played this when I was a soph in HS. I had switched to bass clarinet just for that semester, and this was the only piece that had a fun bass part to play haha. So awesome!

@hollidaysrain we just did this song at school and the original bass clarinet player got sick so i had to learn the whole thing in 2 weeks, wasn't too difficult cause i play clarinet so not too different, but a heck of a lot more fun!

@Georgythelama No doubt man! Most bass parts are super boring compared to alto parts, but this one was sick! I hope you nailed that duet with the sax soloist; that part was definitely the most fun I've had playing the bass clarinet.

I had to do the bassoon solo that goes with it with one person just after I'd joined my first youth band I was like grade 4 and bout 9 yrs old and it was INSANE but twas worth it for the awesome effect - still in band 5 years on and have just got a piece that matches it (Gaelforce) but could only play with help of AGC army band
