Thank you for these videos! I just watched Lesson 1 and it was very helpful! I am Jewish and never paid enough attention in Hebrew school when I was younger, but now as an adult I really want to learn our language. I am excited to watch your other videos! Thanks again :)
i am learning hebrew, because this language is really nice,an your lessons are great to:)
but i wan to ask you something...can you please translate some hebrew phrases, because they were only written in hebrew, not in latin, and i am still not so good in reading hebrew and i don't know, if i read it correctly.so,can you tell me how to say in hebrew:
Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for something just like this as I plan to visit Israel next year.
This is great!!! You are providing a wonderful service to those of us who are really interested in learning without having to pay hundreds of dollars in order to do so.
It would have been a bit more intersting if the text was written in hebrew also .. I try to learn how to read and how to recognize wordsin their original language..
it took me only a couple of weeks to learn the alef bet and now i can read hebrew with the vowels...so i am used to learning from the hebrew letters...these english letters confuse me...but i like to learn more conversation anyway so its all good...shalom from california
Thank you soooooo much for this video. I really would like to return to Eretz Yisrael and be able to speak to people in Hebrew. This is simple enough for me, again thank you. Most of the people know English in the shops. I had so much fun listening to people talk on Ben Yehuda street. It was a blast. Thank you for this good beginning!
@Amitosh86 Hi you can go the website now and sign up , there's not a pdf for this specific videos but there are for other videos. Soon I'll have a video course which willl have lots of cool videos and pdf's!
Thanks for these lessons! I'm planning to go to Israel this May and I'm excited to learn Hebrew. I have one question though: I noticed that your 'R' sounds very very soft, almost a L is that normal for Hebrew pronunication? I was just wondering because I find it interesting that it was a common pronunication issue i faced when teaching esl students in Korea.
@Elurin I guess it's easier noticing those nuances when your'e not a native speaker, I guess you can think about like in some words in English the letters are almost silence if that makes sense(:
@orisin1 Thanks for your answer, and what you say does make sense . . just did some research online and it sounds like there is more going on with the pronunciation of /r/ than what I am hearing. What is obvious to me, at this point, is that I'm going to need a LOT of practice before I start sounding like someone who can speak Hebrew. If it wasn't for the positional changes of pronunciation, i would say that it might be better to make all your /r/ into Ls, lol
@Elurin well practice makes perfect, I am going to come out with a learn conversation Hebrew online course in the next 2 months, so stay tuned, I think it will be very helpful to you
Think I'd find it easier poking needles in my eyes vs learning this. Shoot I always said I could do or learn anything if I put my mind to it, but darn this is hard. I'll still try though.
I've been memorizing the basics but forget it again... it really needs someone to speak with... me and my friends are all beginners and all trying to learn hebrew!!! toda raba again!!
cool i think this was helpful for people who want to learn to speak hebrew without learning to write it. it is also cool that it is a face book group. some of my friends want to learn and i hope that u continue.

luckily I'm Dutch, we have the same 'ha' sound, older English also had that sounds, as did German I believe, yet the latter two have lost it
