@bshoonjan You are wrong Punjabis themselves are composed of many different ethnic groups. Indian Punjabis are mostly Jatts. Pakistani Punjabis are Jatts,Gujjars,Rajputs,Syyeds,A­rians,Moghals,Sheiks, Qureshis,Gilanis, etc and each have different roots. Punjab itself is a Persian word (land of five rivers) and Punjabi is anyone who lives in Punjab. Even a Pashtun who was born and lives in Punjab can be a Punjabi. The only Pakistani Punjabis who share same roots as you are the Jatts in Pakistan.
