  • Thumbs up if you were able to find a Hidden Mickey!!! (Clue: It is in the video on how to play flashlight tag)

  • the only thing i dont like is it goes by too fast u cant realli take the time to see everything but i love the concept tho flashlight tag clever and if it was in english even better but yeah i like this better then the one in cali

  • atleast this one has the actually monster inc building all way get in cali is a stupid entrance thats it no detail pretty boring unlike this you get the building from the movie

  • Also l wanna know, is there a ride like this somewhere in Florida because I'm crazy over this ride

    and the movie.

  • I like Mike mostly in this because his Japanese voice is funny LOL

  • 3 dimensional room inside boo' s door

  • how did they make the room at 5:56 ? because it doesnt look like a room from the back

  • I don't understand the hate. This ride looks fantastic and a LOT more entertaining than, say, the one at Disneyland.

  • if only california's ride was as well themed as this

  • I think that this is a bad ride, yes, but it is SO much better than the California Adventure's Ride. Now, I have only seen the video, but still it takes a lot to be better at something and still be bad. I think that they stretch things too thin with Pixar characters like with "The Seas with Nemo & Friends". Toy Story Mania (name may vary per park) and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin are VERY much exceptions to this though.

  • @RoxasClaimsRiku I have to admit that this was maybe the hardest attraction to shoot. It is so immersive, that a camera is only giving you a very small window to see everything around you, which will never be able to do it justice. A good example would be to compare filming this to filming Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. I would love for this to come over to the US, if for nothing else, but let people see how little they see in the video!

  • @Tkfore21 Alright. I suppose it is a bit unfair to judge it right away but, because of the shooting, I cannot tell if it is bad or good and it appears to be hastily and poorly done on the Imagineers' part.

  • @RoxasClaimsRiku

So wait, you just said Toy Story Midway Mania is an exception to this? The attraction with just TV screens and you stop and play games?

Trust me, this attraction is amazing. I just got done riding it a few days ago and this video doesn't really do it justice. The amount of attention of detail and the effects is insane. It was just overall a lot of fun too! Toy Story doesn't even begin to compare to this attraction.

  • @ZombieOrgasm I am not confronting you specifically about it. From what I see in the video, it is not a good ride because the video is bad. Toy Story is not an exception to the attraction itself, but to the fact that Pixar rides do not always turn out the greatest. (Honestly though, where is the Wall-E ride?) Get off my back, I was just stating what I know from personal experience.

  • @RoxasClaimsRiku

Not on your back sir. You have a right to your own opinion. I was just saying from my OWN personal experience my opinion is different. It was more so a "Hey! It's actually really cool! You might like it!". No need to be defensive.

  • @RoxasClaimsRiku I've already rode this ride, and nothing is bad about the ride. It's really fun playing flashlight tag in the ride! Plus, there is even no height requirement for the ride.

  • POOR RANDALL! D: I read somewhere that that was they were going to do to him at first, then changed it so he was banished (illegally might I add) into some trailer park.

  • The absolute SHITTEST ride I have ever been on in my life ... marvellous that we had to line up for 210 minutes as well. Ridiculous. An insult to Sully and the guys!

  • i wish they had this at dca our version of the monsters inc ride sucks compared to this.

  • This should be at DCA!

  • How the heck are we suppose to understand freaking japanese?!?! Why is Sulley speaking in a foreign tongue? English is the dominant language.....

  • @benco007 It is in Tokyo you know. Racist

  • Comment removed

  • I'm glad everything is in English, as it should be....

  • This Ride looks fun to go on

  • The instructions are in English, the ride is in Japanese....how does anyone know what is going on?

  • I cant tell if the rider here was doing a good job or a bad job but im leaning towards the latter...

  • @javu10 Not sure either! I do know that the ride has already gone though one rehab since I filmed this to make it easier to have the monsters pop out when the flashlight hits the right spot. I rode this several times, and knew where certain ones were, but could not always get them to come out. I need to get back there and try it again!

  • Nice ride! Poor Randall... well...I hope he goes to hospital! :D

  • Whoa! how did they do that! it actually looks like the door leads to another world! 5:55

  • THIS IS SO COOL OH MY HECK! Maybe this would fit well in Pixar Place at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Maybe after Monsters Inc. 2, they'll make a ride like this in Pixar Place. Well, hopefully at least. XD

  • This looks really cool, but kind of out of place. Monsters Inc doesn't belong in Tomorrowland.

  • Despite the fact that it doesn't have a scoring system, this reminds me alot of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters/Toy Story Midway Mania in California! I want to go to TDL.

  • @InvaderDusk I agree! I was totally thinking the same thing.

  • I Wish This Came To Disney World

  • i love the sulley part at 5:19 xD

  • Cool! does Rozz say something personalized like in disneyland?

  • Disney is amazing at making anamitronics. Their movements are actually pretty good, considering they are robots.

  • i want to go to TDL so bad!

  • TDL always has the best cast costumes

  • i loved it there. i want to go on it this year lol

  • Tokyo has another company to pay for everything. Disneyland pays for all the other parks except this one.

  • Correct. The Oriental Land Company (OLC), owns both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. The names and characters are leased from the Disney Company, which also owns Disneyland, Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Paris Resorts.

Until the expansion announcement for Hong Kong Disneyland, the Disney Company held a minority stake in that park. Disney was given a majority stake in exchange for paying to full amount for this expansion.

  • So theres no scoring system for this right?

  • No scoring, so you really don't know if you found the monster or the other riders around you did. Still, it was awesome!

  • Tokyo does it right

  • woaw. 8o

  • Holy crap this one is so much better than the American ride. Why would the country where the movie was produced have the cruddier ride?

  • 5:58 onwards is creepy... how did they do that! anyways, awesome ride, more detailed than orlando

  • What was creeepy?? lol yah the ride looks amazing.

  • The Japan version is more detailed
