Can we make this recipe without onions? I have guests coming over and one of them is a complete vegetarian. If not can you perhaps suggest some very good vegetarian side dishes (without onions or garlic). Being a Bengali, I do not have much knowledge.

Nice and simple. Easy to follow. And the result is absolutely delicious. As I'm in Mexico I didn't used chili powder but fresh chile habanero, while cooking the Paneer Tikka Masala.
( Chief , do not worry about the trolls making unpleasant comments about your english...I would like to see them trying to speak a "foreign" language...)
turned out amasing. i am not a big all-purpose flour fan, so i substituted it with chick-pea flour and tasted good. the tikka preparation was so easy. i generally put them on a skewer and place them on a tawa but this one was also a great way to go about it. LOVED it. Thanks chef
@urbabiigurl91 yeah..speaking welsh-accented english is the most important thing in the world..isnt it? why dont you just SHUT UP and get the MESSAGE instead? what planet are you from? this is the INFORMATION ERA. how FORMALLY do you chat on yahoo messenger anyways?

@urbabiigurl91 His english language skills are not the most important thing in the world. Don't follow this man..I tried to make as he said:-1) when i made panner on pan , it became leather hard and disgusting in taste 2) when i made the sauce or curry and it was also like shit due to adding maida in that...try other way...i have wasted my £ 7
bro that is not "half a teaspoon" or "half a tablespoon"... that's like 2 or 3 teaspoons or tablespoons at a time... but all the same excellent recipe
you r d best indian cook....your clarity..your little tips....your recipes have made me a good cook...well done..i love your south indian -english accent!!
I tried this recipe ...and it was great...just had a problem with paneer on the tawa as it released a lot of water . I wish I'll make it nicer the second time.
@ironescort have life? wtf? who are you to tell me how to live? I'm an image consult, to many, i should be the one telling YOU how to live, infact that is the reason i asked the question; to guide people. so instead of nagging me, why dont YOU go have a freaking life. -.- farting around, what kind of sick minded expression is that?
He is a good cook, and the recipe looks very easy, but the end product looked pretty bad to me. I think Paneer do pyaza ia much better to cook at home. Anything Tika will mean hours of marination and then grilling in clay owen, anything short will not be good.
I enjoy all your recipes along with the nutritional and peripheral information given, but pls do include the measurement of ingredients in your recipes as this info is crucial especially for first timers. If we viewers were to use approximate qtys, taste might not be right as varying qtys of certain ingredients could spoil taste of dish. Thks!
my yogurt wasn't thick lol and it made the whole masala funny looking n khata! but it was delicious i mean fine enough for me to eat and not have a sore throat lol. chef urs was great i'll get thick yogurt next time and i didn't put kasoori methi does it make a big difference if we don't add kasoori methi?
your way to teach others and inspire is great it was inspired me to cook and i've tried four of your recipes bangan bhartha, dal makhani, shahi paneer and this one paneer tikka masala since im not that of a good cook so my dishes were ok but my family loved the dal makhani that i made. thanks for all of your free kitchen lessons they're teaching me a lot i've made a special notebook and noted down the recipes i'd like to cook :-)

WHAT DID HE ADD AFTER TURMERIC? WAS THAT Ginger Garlic Paste?
IF so HOW TO MAKE IT?
THANKS.
sossq1 2 months ago
@sossq1 oh my god... isnt name obvious that it is a mixure of ginger garlic paste ???
grate ginger into fine small pieces
then grate garlics into average size pieces (if small garlic, then use as it is.
now add both the contents to a mixie and make sure initially u run for 10 seconds without water
then add water based on the amount of ginger / garlic inside the mixie jar to make it a paste.
keep grinding in the mixie till it becomes a fine paste.
Ginger garlic paste is ready :)
