this song made me wanna play the ukulele and i can play it untill like 4:00!! :D but what happens then at 4:01 i cant seem to figure out that chord.. help anyone?
My husband was mad that I bought a uke cause he doesn't want me to just stick it in a corner and never learn to play anything on it. I'm going to learn this tune to show him!
Excellent lesson . I already play ( strum and pick in my own fashion - rubbish really ) but want to learn the odd one or two on the uke . This is one I want to do . Thanks !.
Marcy, the lesson does not deal with all the tabs you play and I would like to buy any of your books which include tabs for this song. Can you help? Great video.
played well i've fav'd this so i can learn this in the morning unfortunatley its 1.30AM and playing a banjo ukulele is loud, my parents nor brother and sister will be very appreciative. can't wait to play now!
Very good, though I tune differently and it's hard to follow. Also, difficult to see where your fingers are, due to, of course, the tight neck. But working on it.
thank you...more more lessons, you're so clear helpful and joyful. Could you propose tunes with only three fingers on left hand, as I'm missing the little one, lost in the sky?
Hi Marcy, thank you very much for inspiring me to learn 12th street Rag, I have only been playing Uke about a month and a half and love it! Your instruction is excellent. Any chance of a lesson for Tiger Rag? I've seen Roy Smeck do it on YouTube; awesome! Best wishes.
You are fantastic! love all of your lessons and hope for more. The 12th Street Rag is giving me a hard time. How do I syncopate and do I strum down on on c up on c maj. down on c 6th up on c etc. or something else? Thank you.
Thanks Marcy for making this brilliant lesson breaking it all up clearly, Now to practise for me, champs would be nice but I will settle for a beer someday!

Let´s see the chords in the part @ 4:00 are:
G7sus2, (G4 D3 F2 A1), A7 (G4 E3 G2 A1),
G7sus2, (G4 D3 F2 A1), D13 (C4 F#3 B2 D1),
The same chord with the ring-finger lifted off
from the 2nd string becomes D7 (C4 F#3 A2 D1),
G7 (G4 D3 F2 B1), then she does part chords just
the two top strings which are part of these chords.
Eb (3 fret), E (4th fret), F (5th fret), then G7 (G4 D3 F2 B1).
(The numbers refer to the strings not the frets).

@IGOROZKARSKY
SORRY, I DIDN´T NOTICE THAT SHE PUTS HER
RING-FINGER ON THE 1st STRING, NOT THE 2nd.
SO ITS: D13sus2 (C4 F#3 B2 E1),
The same chord with the ring-finger lifted off
from the 1st string becomes D7 (C4 F#3 A2 D1),
(Actually, both of them can be used, they both
work well).
