I believe he is for Universal Single Payer coverage, and I think that's great! Vermont just passed it into law, Montana to follow! Once other states see the success it will spread like wildfire!
But since we're holding people to their positions you might want to look at the Orin Hatch Bob Dole Universal healthcare plan that looks strikingly similar to Obamacare! You know... the system they call SOCIALISM?

Wow. Thanks for this. I'm trying to make a montage of all the Obama's campaign promises and how he has reversed or not followed through on them. This is great. I've seen other ones using these two clips but not in full context like you have put them. Great job!

Editing the video like this creates misunderstanding of what he was saying at the moment.
He could be referring back to himself as not single payer supporter "during that speech in 2009" not in 2002.
Think critically before you post some video like this.
Some people might get swayed by biased presentation of such video clips.

The second video clip is from 2002.
And the first video clip is from 2009.
During that 7 year period, President Obama may have tried to implemented the change but realized it is now too difficult to simply change from private health care to single payer system.
And during that 7 years, he may also have learned the actual difference between those Universal Plan and Single payer system.
