I lived in your fine country for one year 20 years ago. Youre people have a great spirit and a tenacity,but youre government needs its ass kicked! In a modern sense youre nation is 500 years old.Come on meu amigo! All I hear from Brazilians is "I AM SO POOR,WHAT CAN i DO"? There is no excuse! I guess he recorded this documentary in the worst slam in Brazil. He should record a new documentary plotting what the brazilian goverment is been doing against the poverty, how reduced it was since the stabilization of our economy and how many brazilians migrated from the poor to the middle class. There is no other country in the world which reduced the poverty dramatically as Brazil did and that's why Ms Hilary Clinton says that Brazil is the model she wants the U.S. to follow.

@GGLebo23 I was just contrasting the poverty Mr. Maguila is depicting here with the wave of tent cities across the US. Whereas the dirty shanty houses in Rio at least has bathrooms, running water, electricity and other basic amenities. The tent cities in America have nothing except a mattress and the tent itself. Pretty shocking stuff. No I don't hate the poor.

@ikelaw Brazilians never asked for help from America, on the contrary, Brazil is one of the top holders of America's dept, being America the one who asks help from Brazil.

Brazil is also the one of the top economies in the world, and is leading the rest of Latin America toward self sustainability and divorcing itself from globalism and other harmful schemes cooked up by elites in America and Europe. Brazilians are also very friendly, and poverty exists and is growing rapidly in America today.

U r a good man. U helped these poor people live another day, a happy day, I might add.U r right about how the ghettos in the U.S. r nothing compared to the ghettos in South America or in other countries.I am from Bolivia and man, the poverty there is bad too.When I lived there, I remember seeing kids as old as 3 years old begging out on the streets.The government South American countries dont give a damn about the poor, they only care about themselves.Very sad!
