  • My '85 Regal did this a couple times.

Pumping the gas like that usually doesn't work. Especially if it has been sitting there for days or whenever the outside temp changes from mildly cold to fridgid cold fast.

Turn the key and at the same time gradually add more and more pressure to the gas pedal until you touch the floor and after holding it all the way down for a few seconds.. it eventually should go VVVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good news is many of the parts shown as weathered on this wagon are reproduced. You can buy the armrests, the window cranks, the door handles inside and out, the door lock knobs, the dash pad, things like that. The new owner (in Germany) should have little trouble sourcing this stuff. Now if only we 4-door Torino owners could get Steele Rubber or someone to reproduce the roof rail weatherstripping for sedans/wagons! I'm about to buy my third 4-door Torino and need SOMETHING!
