Had another look at engineering drawings of the fulvia engine - in my model the valves in both cylinder banks are not far enough apart. I suspect there is not enough desaxe - the intersection of the cylinders is actually further below the crankshaft axis than I have it. I will put up a revised version soon. Also I will tighten the distance between the cylinder pairs. The aprilia is better in this respect.
Hi - I have checked photos of the actual crankshaft and my model is vert similar to the photo in general layout i. up-down-down-up. I'm not completely sure if the angular difference is 180 degrees though. Is this what you meant? In the real motor though the big end journals are closer together axially.

Very cool but the crankshaft is wrong, the big end journals are very close together on the two throws. It is balanced as two V twin engines. :-)
