Being 'emo' doesn't make you part of a movement, it just means you adhere to certain clothing styles and, to a lesser degree, mannerisms. Just like every other clique out there.
The only reason emo kids are picked on is because people view them as kids who think act depressed because theybelieve it will garner them attention.
