I could listen to him all day. He has such a great talent at such a young age it would be great to see him use his talent to serve the Lord. About the Church Discussion:

I've been on the concert, and it really was an evangelic church.

And why the used this place: well, the village (rödgen), where they played, was incredible small. So this was probably the best place. Furthermore, churches always have a great accustic!

And i doubt that God would mind. The music was too beautiful ;)

umm I'm protestant and in my church we do have a christ figure at the cross. It's a church here in Germany and the concerts was held at an "evangel. church" (see info text) evangel. stands for evangelisch which means "protestant" in German.

Apparently, based on what you & others have said, it is a Protestant church. The only reason I made my original comment was because, it appeared to be a Catholic church, & I grew up as a Catholic & thereby had acquired expectations of what would, & what would not, take place in a Catholic church. And, though I experienced a lot of music, of different genres in Catholic churches, all music that I ever heard there was always directly pertinent to a religious purpose for which we were there.

Churches have been used as performance spaces for music as long as there have been churches. They have been used for social interactions that are not specifically religious, as well as functioning as spiritual center; and as someone said the acoustics are often much better. The Irish Catholics have used the church as social center for at least 140 years! And if you consider the original Ray Charles song offensive to perform in a church, surely an instrumental version must be less so!
