On their official site the correct lyrics are up. I would post a link but youtube doesn't let you post links in comments so...yeah.

nice attempt but its ruined with wrong lyrics. you're singing a fan's guess at the lyrics. the real opening line is "scars will heal soon.
the dregs in us spent the earth down.

Thanks, that'll teach me to trust the first lyrics site I found (mind you they seemed to fit). But it has to be said the correct version's lyrics are much more poetic.
