Why does ahmadiyya believe Jesus was crucified but didn't die? Doesn't the Quran say that Jesus was neither crucified nor killed? So how can he say Jesus was only crucified but survived. - Also, I was buying into what he was saying until he reminded me that John the Apostle said that Jesus "gave up the ghost" (John 19:30). This means Jesus died. Paul the Apostle in many places says that Jesus died as well. So the Quran cannot be from God.

Henok30: Crucifixion means to make a person Dead on the cross. If one is survived on the cross then it is NOT said to be Crucified.

Quran also tells that Jesus (as) & his mother were miraculously saved from some severe calamity & were granted refuge at a hilly station full of water springs i.e a place like Kashmir.

When Jesus was on the cross then he was motionless & so deciple thought that he was dead - but clinically he was yet alive.

dawah1 I understand crucifixion to mean: "the nailing of a person on the cross" The person could die from this event or survive. There have been some instances where the crucified person's wounds were treated & he lived on. So, the Quran says Jesus was not crucified. This means Jesus was never nailed to the cross. However, the Bible clearly states that Jesus was crucified. So the Quran must be false.

Bible, if read carefully, ALSO PROVES THAT JESUS SURVIVED CRUCIFIXION & Quran also confirms same fact by saying that Allah granted miraculous escape to Jesus from severe calamity to a hilly place full of water springs (23:50)

ahmadiyya59: May Allah strengthen you & bless you. I am also a convert to Islam-Ahmadiyya. Alhamdo-Lillah I accepted Islam-Ahmadiyya in 1982. There is no doubt that Islam-Ahmadiyya is the most logical approach towards religion in the world today.

I was a Sunni Muslim previously but was never satisfied with Mullah's illogical stories & fairy tales in the name of religion.

If you believe Isaiah in the Bible you believe Jesus died. If you believe Jesus actually existed than you believe that he told his followers he would die, unless he was lying to himself. If you are Islam and take what part of the Bible you want but don't accept the other how can you be saved if you don't believe Jesus said "I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME." Many Mullas are twisting the meanings of verses of Quran from centuries in order to support fiction of Christians. FictionsBlaster: Islam Ahmadiyya is the most logical understanding of religion. Promised Messiah was not to bring a new religion - rather he was to take all the right concepts scattered here & there and to reject all the wrong conceptions from the Muslims.

You are right in believing the Jesus (as) had died a natural death. It is what Quran, Hadith & laws of nature tells us. But you reject coming of Promised Messiah that was clearly & categorically said by the Prophet (saw).
