A Gretsch in a Marshall half stack sounds fantastic. And any feedback you get can be easily controlled and works well with the Bigsby. Think BTO and Neil Young. I have recorded many songs and guitar solos in the studio with a Marshall stack and a Gretsch 6120. It's probably the electric guitar I play the most simply because it can play everything well. Why switch guitars when you don't have to?
i agree. ignorant guitar players that don't understand spinal tap references shouldn't be commenting, or even playing guitar. that's a hollow body, not semi-hollow.
