@gomajorsandgojays I don't have an XBox, and I do have a wii. Personally, I have used the XBox and it has better game titles. Call of duty, halo... are the most popular game titles and the XBox has them and the wii does not. (I hate shooter games personally). The XBox has online gaming and the wii does not. The wii seems to be centered around a TV media center/kid gaming console. Don't get mad and ramped about my opinion. It's not like I was insulting your "friend."

I'm sorry, but in no way can a 7th generation console be number one on any real gamer's top 10 consoles. Sure, graphics are pretty, but in the older days, the games made the system and not the graphics. Graphics don't make or break the game, the gameplay and story should. Square Enix is a good example of who traded gameplay for graphics. Final Fantasy used to be the greatest thing ever and now it's become too linear for any good RPG. Now I just wish Versus would come out before SE kills it off.

Sure, the Wii's graphics are not as sharp as the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3, but all the games that you find on all the consoles that do well are visually appealing even though some may not be in high definition. In matter of gameplay, sure the Wii is good, but I can name off other consoles that have better games because of gameplay than the Wii did with it's innovative motion controls. One of them being the N64.
