  • Cool scooter. Why does everyone where you live fail at parking

  • ok I saw 2. video :D

  • Please post new video where you are driving on 200x50 tire scooter!

    1Q: Can you do burnout?

  • please can u tell me how to make an electric scooter like the one in the video ,i will pay for the advice

  • The scooter in the video was very unstable, the motor is now fitted to a larger scooter with inflatable tyres. if you want a small extremely powerful scooter you would be better off buying a tiny 100w scooter from ebay and fitting a brushless motor on it you could use the existing belt drive and be much quieter.

  • not in the uk mate :D

  • If you changed the gearing do you think you'd get much of a top speed improvement?

  • blazing

  • Hi Livelounge May i know where to purchase the scooter?.. any websites?.

  • yo how fast is that

  • around 25mph! uphill as well!

  • and can i put one on a razor e100 and if i can how to or go 2 a certain place

  • u recon a 250w would work?

  • That is really a kool scooter! But, I like gas scooters better, because you never need to charge them! But, I have to say, I had that exact scooter, and it worked perfectly! About 15 MPH. But I would recommend this scooter to a begginer "scooterist". Gas scooters CAN BE DANGEROUS! So, watch out!

  • Yes but the main problem with gas is that they are not legal within most cities. I have a 500w electric, legal on the road or sidewalk here.

  • damn... that looks awesome

  • is there like a guide and parts list for this?

  • Unfortunately there is no parts list as this was a one off, this was built to show the amazing power of the tiny motor, check the web address in the description for pictures and more detailed info.

  • that is awesome. one of those would make my commute to the station rather fun.

  • 0:10 - 0:25 wow... thats up a hill too!

  • On the little scooter i was using 2 12v 12Ah lead acid, good for about 30mins riding, as for the motor, when put on the larger scooter it began to get hot, so i fitted a fan to cool it. The main thing to watch is the esc, i destroyed two of these due to overheating. the one i'm using now has the casing removed and a pc cpu heatsink and fan fitted, now it dosent even get warm. 800w is not the biggest motor out there, you will find 6kW,(6000w) if you look for them.

  • On the tiny scooter i clocked between 19 and 21mph(depending on battery charge) with a hand held GPS

  • The motor is stlill running, it has been fitted to a larger scooter, 200 x 50 wheels. As the tiny scooter was not very safe at full speed, and the acceleration tended to throw you off the back. The gearbox is single speed, it is very noisy and has been replaced by one from a petrol scooter (much quieter). As for heavy weightit can pull 2 adults up the steepest hills, only problem is battery range, riding full speed uphill uses lots of power.

  • Pretty cool, Adam!

  • 2700W , wow i'd say around 40mph at least, if you had variable gears( 3 speed hub etc) probably 60mph on th straights. you wouldnt get much range though unless you had loads of li-po batteries £££££££££

  • Hey dude! Nice one haha, that looks awesome. I'm the guy you saw on the mountainboard today on Wollaton Park, happy times!

The place in this vid looks familiar, it looks a bit like Bilborough, I went to college there. Anyway, I reckon I'll resist putting a motor on my board lol. Interesting that you put a RC aircraft motor on it, I wouldn't have thought of that. Cheers!

  • Thanks for your comment, glad you liked it. it is loads of fun, prettyscary though with such a short wheelbase. i'm fitting the motor on to a bigger scooter soon, with wheelss the same size as your mountainboard (200x50) should work off road then as well. I'll have to bring it to wollaton and try it out, Cheers, Adam

  • Awesome! :O 200x50 wheels sounds great. An off-road motor scooter, woo! Good luck with that, maybe see you on the park in the future hehe.

  • hi

that is a nippy little runner, funny been thinking of making something very similar to get to work on!! nice work!!

    Knoxie

  • Thank you, just need some ni-cd batteries soon to make it self contained i.e. no backpack. Its pretty scary to ride as the acceleration requires you to lean forward, or be thrown off, plus it has no brakes, good luck on your project. Adam

  • Brilliant, where in the UK did you get the motor ?

  • fantastic! my plan is to make a scooters very light aswell, nice to be able to take it on the train.
