  • You could use a joule thief to use less energy for keeping the watch always on.

  • The only thing I don't like about most of the Kisai watches is that they don't offer a "constantly on/lit" feature that you can turn off like on the Kisai Seven. They look like pieces of metal or rubber on your wrist with dead batteries in them, until they are lit :P

  • @Zam1Fear Thanks for the feedback. Will keep it in mind for future designs. Some people like the dark mysterious look, some people like the bright 'on all the time' look.

  • @TokyoflashReviews Could you not incorporate some type of slider switch to have both options?

  • @pdgeman It could have that function but the battery would last hours rather than weeks.

  • Aye Wot!?!

  • These fancy back to the future watches would be so much better if they constantly displayed rather than having to push a button.

  • interesting

  • why dont you use pipboy ???!?!?!?!?!?111?!?!!?!111111oneoneoneone

  • looks super cool! but i wouldn't use it jsut because its kinda big but its really cool!

  • seems like a lot of messing about just to tell the time ,its a novelty watch more than anything else

  • I love old American Jazz!!

  • Glossy screen so its hard to read when light reflects off it...

  • That is major ugly, though.

  • is it 6:05 when he took this video?

  • @jonahjonahgoodman That's correct, 6:05.

  • I don't care what most think. Its still nice and orginal to tell the time. And i mean all the watches they make. Some are really nice, some really fail (but is in my eyes only). I'm still posetive into buying 1 of those watches pretty soon.

  • The "Optical Illusion" watch is pretty cool too!!

Lots of geeky bling on the site. It's worth a look if you like odd, nerdy and flashy things. (That actually *flash* lol)

  • I love how it looks, but is it really worth $100? I feel like in reality it's probably worth like $15 and the rest is just an inflated cost. Really, technology like this doesn't cost that much these days.

It does look good and I'd want to buy it if I didn't feel like it's a ripoff.

  • @JesuXPIPassio It is a limited edition design so was made in a small production quantity. Most watch makers mass produce watches using "off the shelf" movements, this watch has an original display that has been developed from the ground up especially for this watch. It's completely unique.

  • @JesuXPIPassio

All the watches and accessories on TokyoFlash are more "art" or "fashion accessory" than practical. I'd not pay the asking price for any of their watches, but wouldn't mind my wife giving me one for my birthday or something. LOL

One thing I like in their offerings is the "Escape C" BlueTooth dongle… errr, thingie. It's about the size of a hockey puck and you wear it around your neck on a chain or whatever.

Not sure *why* I like it other than it's just so bloody odd!

  • Kool

  • Kewl watch for sure.

  • Finally made the plunge, just ordered my Kisai Satellite Green, can't wait! I dunno why people don't understand your watches, they're simple to read :/

  • It's a neat watch, it just seems to be a bit too clever for it's own good. Maybe I'm just old fashioned.

  • I just prefer ipod nano 6g ^^

  • i don't want to get use to it, i want to be able to see it at a split second and know ACCURATELY what time is it.

  • did u kill a predator

  • meh, still like my ipod nano 6g with a watch band

  • Seems like nothing new, could probs have been done 30years ago.

  • Is it a good thing or a bad thing that I was able to figure out the time just from his first time turning it on? Also, how much does this cost?

  • mind fuck what the hell is the point you cant read it and it doesnt give you enough time to figure out what the fucking time actually is b4 it turns off

  • can I cheat with this at my tests?

  • That's something I would break...

  • really simple to read my ass..

  • it's more easy to put number on it.

  • Nice watch

  • but will it blend...?

  • It's from Tokyo sure .. But i think it's from China for 2 euro !!! axxaaxaxxa you so stupid ..

  • Plus its really hard to read. i do not want to have to solve a f**king puzzle every time i wanna know what time it is

  • stupid. lets stick to silver and gold jewelry, not cheap imported bullshit

  • that's just stupid

  • Can you still read the time in sunlight?

  • shit

  • are u american?

  • Is it a conversation starter? Nice quick video!

  • THIS IS COOL AS THE INFINITY INVADERZ WATCH!

  • im still waiting for my TV Ring .

  • Vodka

  • Руку побрей)

  • to hard to use!!!!

  • @ristyp it's easy once you get used to it :-) you'll be reading the time at a glance after a couple of days.

  • @TokyoflashReviews can i buy it in kuwait??

  • @TokyoflashReviews looks cool...but why does it keep going to stand by...cant u just leave it on?

  • @ristyp

You think thats hard, try the Infinity Invaderz Watch! Its at thinkgeek.

  • @ristyp Seriously? Are you a blind flyd, or something?

  • @ristyp What you can't add?

  • back to the 90's?

  • this is a water resistant??

  • @aryakenzo Hi, this design isn't water resistant but it's fine for daily use. You shouldn't wear it in the bath or shower or submerge it in water though.

  • at this point i really should be moving away from "innovative watches" category as i could only see myself wearing a watch like this in a totally illogical cartoon world..

  • Only one problem with it. You have to push a button to see the time. That defeats the purpose of a wrist watch. If I wanted to push buttons to see the time, I'd use my cellphone.

  • @TheTurbinator This is typical of LED watches. I think it is cool that the design has a mysterious black screen and then when you push the button it lights up - it's kind of a surprise, and very different to a normal watch. Tokyoflash does sell LCD watches too, which have LED backlighting, so they are always on and you don't need to press a button.

  • @TheTurbinator this strikes me as the kind of watch you wear as more of a fashion statement. At least, that's why I wear watches. It's a conversation-starter ;)

  • Not gonna lie, you guys make the best watches. I'm ordering for Christmas lol.

  • Thumbs up for smooth jazz

  • @undefined0000100

    Hells yeas!

  • A pocket watch version of this would be awesome!

  • i would have bought it if it had dual time and date

  • @Muamarz You should check out Kisai Rogue Touch! It has time, date, dual time, alarm, LCD always on display, LED backlighting and an animation.

  • be cool to have something like this, but as a pocket watch. i hate wrist watches.

  • @Deutscheland1470 Thanks for the feedback! I'm sure something you like will be released by Tokyoflash soon :-)

  • @Deutscheland1470 I second this man's idea, pocket watches are boss.

  • @MrJiggles4 Cool :-) Stay tuned, there might be something coming soon for you :-)

  • Do you have a small wrist or are all these watches quite large?

Would be good in the vid to give some common object comparison to give a sense of scale.

The only thing i'm wary of is the watch being a big big for my liking.

    Thanks.

Very nice watches by the way and I love the fact that they are all limited edition :)

  • @inXaneOne *a BIT big

    damn my typing skills

  • @inXaneOne Thanks for your kind comment. Yeah, my wrist is quite small and this watch would look better on a larger wrist. I quite like it though, it's not too big. There are other designs on the Tokyoflash website that are thinner and smaller though. Check 'em out. Thanks for the feedback!

  • HEY :D is there a version of this where it stays on without always having to press that button??

  • hahaha, fallout 3 soundtrack :D

  • what do the points do?? do it let you buy things

  • @urantay they allow you to go to the next level. ;)

  • Reminds me of a gadget from some low-budget 70's Sci-Fi movie, lol...Very cool :-)

  • sucks how it cant stay on

  • @thatAWES0MEdude Thanks for your feedback, we are listening. We have some other designs that are "always on", Rogue SR2, 3D Unlimited, Kaidoku...

  • @GRIFFINSUNITE Yes, 5 days. It may be even faster.

  • @TokyoflashReviews How about Serbia? Surely it would take longer...

  • @oktopod3 I looked into this for you. It will take 5 days using FedEx.

  • @TokyoflashReviews What if i want the light to be longer? Could i make it longer?

  • how long does it take for orders to process?

  • @ubercoolman7 Hello, orders are processed each day at 09:00 Japan time. So, depending on when you place your order, it will be shipped out on the day or the day after you place the order. Shipping then takes on average 5 days.

  • Is this watch Waterproof?

  • @louiscolby Hi, thanks for your question. Satellite is not waterproof but it is water resistant to 3ATM, which means it is fine for every day use but should not be worn in the shower or submerged in water.

  • @TokyoflashReviews oh,ok. what if for example,i caught myself in drenched heavy rain? it would not be harful would it?

  • @louiscolby Well, it should be ok, but I wouldn't advise getting the watch drenched.

  • I WANT THIS WATCH BADLY!

I'm getting it next week =)

  • Subscribe to the TokyoflashReviews YouTube channel for the chance to win a watch when we reach 1000 subs :-) Only 209 to go!

  • @TokyoflashReviews i am waiting for the black/satellite blue stock :)

  • Comment removed

  • were can i buy one cause im in canada

  • @Patatata100 you can shop at tokyoflash(dot)com. We ship to Canada in 2-4 days.

  • Nice but I like the blue better.

  • this one is pretty straight forward compared to the other designs. I'm more partial to white LEDs though. :D

BTW, how do you set the time on the watches?

  • Excellent Design Again :D

  • This could be my next & 6th tokyoflash watch.

Very nice design and easy to read time.

Keep up the good job, guys :)

    Greetings from France

  • Green is pretty damn nice, the guy who does these videos is very well spoken. Good job dude

  • White and green is the best combination :-)

  • Love this watch.

It's hard to choose between blue or green! :D

  • Man this watch is slick. I wonder if my insurance wouldn't mind letting me skip a payment so I can pick one up.

  • i love that tokyoflash has decided to add the usb recharging functionality. you don't have to worry about activating the LEDs at the cost of battery life. i'm wondering whether one day there'll be computer connectivity via usb and bundled software. perhaps we'd be able to set the time from the computer, set LED color choices, and use the watch as usb storage if the watches also included flash storage.

  • Hey I own this watch and I love it.

I have a few suggestions though, I think you should start bringing back watches from the museum . Especially the Radio Active Active Reactor watch and the Saishin Retsu. I really would like a second chance to buy the watches that you don't make anymore~

  • @metalgrunt400 Thanks for your feedback. Yes, Satellite is a nice watch :-) Your points about older designs has been noted. Our designs are all limited edition, which we hope makes them more unique and special than other watches. Hopefully we will be able to make future designs available for longer.

  • So nice colors :-)
