The PS2 version is different, made by a different company. It was published by Titus, if that means anything, one of the worst publishers of the 90s (namely due to Superman 64, but that's bad enough as it is)

The lava stage is Hades.

And it was only for playstation one. There's an N64 one too, it was a fighting game.

She appears a few times in the game, you gotta save her a couple times. She's not playable though, you play as Xena the entire game.

i have this game and i have played it like over 50 times and i love it . what i don;t like about it is : chakram can only ricochet 3 times they should have let it be infinit or until the player calls it back or until xena goes next to it. the levels are too short. the game looks unfinished in some levels, they could have make xena do higher flips like in the tv show, and last gabrielle looks to much like a block. other then that it is my favorite game.
