fing awesome, been using it for gigs and I got rid of my giant pedalboard loaded down with tons of analog boxes which sounded great but all had their own power units making everything doubly heavy and increasing rf noise on stages, also these effects sound great through fender amps.
can i use FV500 to m13 as a switchable volume and expression pedal in one? and what should I use for the m13, FV500 H or L.. pls help me with the configuration. thank you.. :D
Go for a Boss GT-10 they are much more reliable and are built like a tank. Even if someone can't afford that go for a Boss ME-50 or ME-70. Its worth it to go with Boss.
@posiedonpowertrio eh I never really liked the ME series. The GT-10 is great, though. I'd still say the M9/M13 are my favorite because they are just so darn easy to use.
Used to love Line 6 stuff. However they are unreliable. I don't actually think this sounds very good. I have the MM4 and it's a tone sucker. Great concept but made for peanuts hence poor quality.
@HellMustFearMe777 The M13 has a FX Loop. You can plug your guitar into the input and plug the FX SEND in the front of your amp, Then plug your amp's fx send to the FX RETURN of the m13 and the M13's Output to the fx return in the amp. Then set the loop to go anywhere you want between pedals so you can have for example >distortion>compressor>loop(preamp)>revrb>delay>power amp
Be Careful with line 6 ... After my DM4, my DL4 isn't workin' anymore ... I've been EXCLUSIVELY usin' the LINE6 adaptator and the power in my house is stabilised ... short life stompboxes ... be really careful !!!
Agreed, their stuff breaks incredibly easy. It's a shame, because it's really well thought out and decent sounding for the price. Some dickwad gave you a thumbs down for telling the truth. Either his pedals haven't broken yet or he works for Line 6. Is that you, George?
that really sucks too hear... how long did they last? i am a supporter of line 6 and all my amps are line 6 but i mainly sticked with boss for effects. i recently purchased the m13 and am extremely happy with it.
yes my friend you have right.i posted to the line 6, 5 times i repeat five times and the send it back for five times and they dont replace it for new and every times brokes down
I'd probably get this for a really professional sound. Line6 pedals always have a kind of studio sheen. But that's not always what you want...
I'd try them both and see which interface you get on with the best, I personally would prefer the line6 interface. Just because there aren't any menus.
get the m 13 i have one it takes about a week to tweek it out to your own sounds then your off and running! i never like line 6 live effects untill now! check my demo out using my 1976 les paul custom
Yes you can in that you can have different scenes with different FX on. In otehr words you switch to scenes mode and you have 12 scenes which you have programmed.
So if I understand correctly you're saying there is a mode where I can use the 12 buttons to recall each individual scene...and that I can preset each "scene" so that I can select the effects (up to 4)to be on when I select that scene?
If that's the case this box offers some nice flexibility.
Got this today! So far so good. The best parts are the delay and reverb settings they are top notch! The Tremelo is also very good. I like it more than my amps trem for some reason. Tomorrow I'm sitting down with it and sorting out what I like, need and where to assign all the ones I like. The good thing is you can double up tubescreamer pedals :) Very cool.
This pedal is super awesome! The only thing missing is wah. But I bought it when it first came out and I have not regretted it. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't look as cool as a board full of effects pedals.
you can still plug in a wah, this has the same inputs and outputs as a normal pedal. not to mention you can spend like an extra 60 and get an expression pedal , one of them has wah. good deal
well you can set it up so that the 4 modules can be the same. so you could essentially set up all 4 of the modules to be different delays. The only down side is you cant use any other effects if u use all of the modules for delay. But if u wanted to use two reverbs at once, a delay, and a distortion all at the same time you could.
@fallingmanjutsu I wouldn't be too sure. I see it as the holy grail of delay, reverb, and modulation in one. The distortion/overdrives are not as good as my other analog dirt boxes.
THANK YOU.. GREAT VIDEO!!!

Hi! I`ve recently purchased the M13 and it only has 12 scenes (3 for each block of effects)! Wasn`t supposed to have 48?

The distortions sound fizzy, and most of everything else sounds unusable for anything except dicking around in your practice room.

Hi,
I'm considering one of these.I understand the "scene" arrangement but I wonder if you're able to store multiple effects on 1 button preset.
IE can you hit a single button to activate say (for example)delay, reverb and tremolo simultaneously?
Thanks.
spentonmediocrity 2 years ago
na you cant you need a voodoo lab ground control to do that

Can i save it and recall and switch from one to another on the fly?
