Also, cows don't GIVE us milk... we TAKE it from them... after we TAKE their calves from them.Calves are usually taken from their mothers at birth or are aborted if they are not born in time for the dairy farmer's milking schedule.This is extremely traumatic for the calves and their mothers.Dairy cows have been known to travel for miles to nurse their calves which they can still smell from a distance. Some calves become veal - which is an abominable practice.What does this have to do with Jesus?

Humans start losing their ability to digest lactose from about 2 years of age. Some ethnicities are completely lactose intolerant once they reach adulthood. Therefore, all infants should be breastfed if possible for at least two years. Once children wean themselves from their mother, they should NEVER consume lactose again. No other animals consume lactose after infancy or early "childhood" and they certainly don't consume another animals' milk that is not designed for them.

If it's not pasteurized, how do i know it's safe for consumption? As I know it, they lay everywhere. What about the hands of the ones who milk them?

Grass fed cows rarely get sick, and they are regularly screened for TB and brucellosis. The cow's teets (correct spelling?) are also cleaned with an iodine solution prior to milking. Then the actual milking process begins, which involves some sort of vacuum device. So, no dirty hands are involved.
