  • Maybe your best song ! I am rather impulsive. I think this must be why I love

    this song so peaceful.

    Greetings from France. Isabelle.

  • I think of running through grassy mountain hills with the sun breaking into dawn when I hear the song.

  • Sehr schönes Stück, Ulli!

Blomberg war ein besonderes Erlebnis, wir sehen uns nochmal in Gadenstedt.

    Grüße,

    Bernd

  • which guitar is it it looks and sounds so beautiful

  • Great song and excellent playing!

  • What is the turning of this song? Is that is EBGDAE or DGDGB?

  • @toibuonvidoi Tune is double dropped D, change strings 1 and 6 to D (DADGBD)

  • beautifully done...

  • Fantastic and talented! Thank you. Regards, Catalina

  • Guys.

He actually has tabs. Check the description box!

  • Ulli suona con il cuore.

  • Guys.

Everyone knows this song would be hell to tab out.

  • This is a very relaxing and inspiring tune! You are very talented and I look forward to seeing you on your American tour!

  • As to what genre would you describe this song? I need to hear more of this kind of melody.

  • They should add this into the secretly being developed Halo 4 series.

  • What an amazing guitarist and such peachful music

  • Sehr schöner song, toll gespielt! Die Gitarre klingt superb! Immer wieder gerne gehört!

  • Is this song played in DADGAD tuning? Would like to learn this song once i get the tuning right.

  • @MrFrankie421 Nope. The tuning is DGDGBD

  • Phenomenal!

  • the guitar and him are one

    you can see it.

    you can feel it.

    the aura is amazing...

  • i love ulli's vids, but i prefer sungha's "in a constant state of flux"....

  • @joyoluigi I wouldn't know...

  • I want to reach this state of flux :-)

  • To those looking for Tabs, Ulli has this one and many more available for purchase and immediate download on his website. SUPPORT THE ARTIST, PEOPLE! Plus... every time you download a tab from one of the many unauthorized Tab sites, a kitten or puppy dies! :D

  • BRAVO!!!!!!)))))))/

    Olga/

  • Amazing

  • topp!!!!

  • I'm used to Sungha's version, so hearing it not forced is great.

  • Beautiful Mr. Bögershausen!

  • Wonderful feeling after listening...

  • Beautiful!

  • Ultimate-guitar has an accurate tab for this.

  • what a a wonderfull arangement!

thank you for the goose flesh! :D

    6/5!!!

  • @sparkdog

    Sungha is 14 years old....

  • Changed my view about the "masters". There are many excellent players out there. Shunga is a big talent and he also has been advertising himself for years now.

  • Super und mit welcher Präzision und dennoch sehr viel Gefühl gespielt. Daumen hoch ;-) Stephan

  • Tabs can now be found :D

  • Playing with eyes closed much...?

  • very nice played :) I hope that one day i can play this, and write tunes like this :)

  • Perfection.

  • You can buy the tabs at Ulli's website for € 5.50 .

Not advertising, but I bought them and it makes learing the song a lot easier. However, working out the tabs for yourself can be quite satifying as well, I just don't want to invest the time ;)

  • I could tell the difference between SungHa and Ulli. (No offense).

While this guy is more composed and relaxed and knows the flow of the music, SungHa is still learning. Kudos to both musicians.

  • Picture this played by an orchestra, like in star wars. Just picture it

  • sehr gefühlvolle Darbietung

  • Stunning performance !

  • Strange to note how popular this video is in South Korea. :) Anyway, Ulli is a legend as we all know.

  • Was für ein wunderschönes Stück zum Träumen und die Gedanken frei fliegen lassen - perfekt

  • Was für ein schönes Lied! Herzlichen Dank dafür!

    Werde mir den Tab bestellen...

    LG

    Andreas

  • When i first heard it i was amazed i love classical guitar it sounds really cool

  • i want tabs... :D i bet everyone does haha but lets be honest, just listening to it makes me feel good i bet playing the song would produce the same feelings if not better

  • @Stevenramkins I tabbed the intro so far and it gives you a massive sense of satisfaction and euphoria when you play it. I advise taking the time to tab it. It's DADGAD tuning ;)

  • @ECHBlackthorn Ain't it DADGBD?

  • @Alejammdro You are correct lol my bad *hangs head in shame*

  • @Alejammdro You are correct lol my bad *hangs head in shame*

  • @Stevenramkins u've got that right =]

  • @Stevenramkins: I'm going to try and the tabs, the song is not so hard because most of it repeats a lot of times, but don't expect perfection, my ear is not as good as masters Ulli and Sungha :P

  • @Stevenramkins Uli sells them...go to his homepage. He makes a living from music so he needs to make some money

  • @Stevenramkins Much better, MUCH better.

  • @Stevenramkins you can play it by ear if you would like to look at my channel i did in my opinion one of the best covers but its still not near ulli ;)

i would consider if you looked at it :D

  • @Stevenramkins Buy it then, on his website, about 5 euros

  • @Stevenramkins They have it at ultimate guitar

  • @crazyoveradamlambert is it the proper one xD?

  • @St3tox yes its good easy to get lost in it though just started learning it

  • @Stevenramkins Very few of us could ever hope to be this good, tabs or no. But if you are interested, there are some Ulli tabs out there. Google his name and then tabs, you'll get some results, I tried with one, Daybreak in May, but he just plays such progressive, tight, technical stuff that most of us mere mortals can only aspire to his level of greatness. Good luck.

  • I wanna buy a Lakewood

  • amazing... I feel like "flying" on the oceanic waves <3

  • Great job!!!

I love this song and your job!

  • @MrZeta007 Ulli is his inspiration

  • i love your music!

  • I noted that Sungha uses the same brand of guitar (!); I wonder if he took lessons from Ulli (?!) .

  • @MrZeta007 same pick same guitar, same songs. probably a student

  • Yes, Sungha did play with Ulli when he was in Germany @ Ulli's home. There are some videos here.

  • I'm not sure about lessons, but Ulli helped Sungha get sponsored by Lakewood and Sungha's guitar is based on Ulli's guitar, but I it's think a bit smaller.

  • him and Shunga end the songs the same way

  • this is a beautiful piece!!!

    i love it !

and the way you are playing it is just great!!

  • ossssssssssss muyyyyy buenooooo

  • This where I see Sungha in another ten years or so. Ulli Boegershausen is a master and unlike Sungha he doesn't have to think about where his fingers are going all of the time instead he can concentrate of the perfection of each note. That is where emotion comes in. Sungha is starting to show some emotion in his later vids. Again a masterpiece played by a master. Sungha is the young ever so talented apprentice.

  • I can watch this video over and over, and still get amazed of how beautiful this song is.

  • @sparkdog1 Do better than Sungha before saying of him. Can you? Congratulations for Boegershausen.

  • @caiolagana I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say.

  • @sparkdog1 Sorry, I have bad understood your previous comment. I'm sorry, ignore what I said please =)

  • @caiolagana No problem, You are much better with English I an with your language.

  • @sparkdog1

With no disrespect to your comment ... but Sungha has shown a lot of emotion in his playing. In fact amazingly so .... especially when he was only 10/11 at the time. One could see it all over his sweet young face when he was playing ...

  • @GABRIELEsongs Thank you for your comment. I was referring to the emotion that comes through his guitar. Close you eyes and see the difference. Both are great guitarist just at different stages in their professional lives.

  • @sparkdog1

Oh, yes, in the context of the rich emotional expression in the actual guitar playing, you are absolutely right.

PS. They are also at different stages in their personal and emotional depth, which naturally matures with age. (Sorry, don't mean to ramble ...)

  • @GABRIELEsongs We are in total agreement. It was a pleasure talking with you.

  • @sparkdog1 It's like Palpatine and Anakin haha

  • @sparkdog1 Actually , did u know that Ulli Boegershausen is Sungha's teacher? And of course he must look where his fingers go :D This piece is way to difficult to play it with closed eyes. But ur right...somehow he manages to reach the perfection of each note...dont ask me how...its a miracle *_*

  • damn i have to get me one of those guitars

  • Beautiful ! .

  • what tuning is this?

  • DADGBD

  • Wow Ulli! I love this piece! I don't see you using a capo very often... ;-)

I love the soft, pure tone that Lakewood emits when you play it.

Alex de Grassi is one heck of a composer, I must say!

    Bravo!

  • Where can i find tabs?? !!

  • Comment removed

  • where can i find the tabs?

  • i think you have to buy them from him online. it's a shame, music should be freely spread.

  • @Bordeguy

Well, a man's got to make a living somehow. *shrug*

  • i love this song

  • Damn Brilliant

  • Why compare? Both are great at what they love doing, leave it at that.

  • agree!!!

LOVE THIS PEICE of melody =) goooo ulli/sungha!!!!!!!! keep on rocking

  • He def plays better than Sungha, the flow and the dynamic he has in his music, Sungha still has left to develop. Not taking anything away from him, he's a boy musical genius, on his way to being very refined in his playing.

  • @calvinculpalt oh my f*cking god how can one be so damn stupid and ignorant...

  • why the truth hurts how old is he? oh yeah 13 and how old is this guy uuuuuh like in his 50s 60s i dont know the point is that shunga is better and hes 13 years old

  • @Minimonster06 jajaja Ulli is the master of sungha jaja

  • @Minimonster06 except Ulli wrote this :)

  • and what i like about this guy is that he enjoys playing it his emotions on his face thats what shunga dosent have shunga dosent have emotions well not when hes playing guitar

  • ich liebe den song

  • so good, and wonderful

  • Esta canción es muy excelente!

Amigo, no dejes la música, sería un pecado!

  • hahahaha neta

  • you are the best!!

  • i love this song!

i feel the different interpretation between yours and sungha :)

  • did he make it?

    no?

then I think this guy did it better

  • Masterpiece of the maestro. I can't tell anything but this.

  • Hello Ulli,

    Very beautiful song!

You keep inspiring me again and again.

Thanks for this and for your friendship,

    Geert.

  • they hace same guitar or similarr

    cool

  • i have to say that i like sungha's better because its enchanting

  • @Astray71 I think Ulli plays it better because it got more feeling (:

  • its undeniable that Ulli plays better, but I like Sungha's version better

  • @harands

I think, perhaps, that the one who composes it almost always plays it with more feeling, because for them, it truly DID come from the heart.

It is the same with writing...it is easier for a writer to read his own story aloud than another''s, because he already knows full well how his words and sentences should flow, and thus that familiarity leads those words to roll off the tongue with just a little more grace

  • @pragmaticus123 excellent explanation, I totally agree!

  • I love this song! does anyone know where to get the tabs?

  • He sells them in his Webshop :)

  • where is his webshop?

  • never mind, I found it ^_^

  • firstly, they're recorded differently, and sound different...but yeah, Ulli has FAR better control over dynamics, which is just beautiful. sungha is great, technically, but, as a previous poster commented, lacks maturity. im sure that will increase with his age!! :D

  • Ulli really feels the song , Sungha just plays it perfectly. But in a week a song can't be mastered both technically and emotionally.

  • It's not difficult to hear Ulli Boegershausen's performance of his original is really polished and mature.

  • Comment removed

  • sungha's version is loud, but this guys is sooo soft, and more relaxing. i luv both.

  • @HimeGirl15 its because sungha is using picks, and uli only has one on his thumb. and fingers sound softer and picks give more of a loud and precise sound

  • U kuje both Sungha's and Ulli's versions, but in totally different ways. Does that make sense....?

  • I meant "I like", not "U kuje", sorry typo! =)

  • sungha's is good but i think ulli has a bit more control over his sound :/ plus the certain chords he does play are lighter and sound more angelic than sunghas both are good and both have a different attack style... lols ulli kinda looks like clapton XD totally differn playing styles though :P

  • @kenta

i thought the same thing about clapton haha

  • i like ulli's version.

  • I can't find the tabs on his website, does anyone know where to find it?

  • in his webshop
