  • I had the privilage of hearing Brian read this at Bowdoin College for the Stone Coast Writers Conference. Down to earth, great guy... phenomenal poetry from Here, Bullet. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for your service, Brian!

  • I hope people don't think this is the best of poets writing today. Head to poetryfoundation. org to check out the really good folks. If you like this guy, try Louise Gluck, or Yusef Koumanyakoo.

  • This guy is one of the best war poets I have ever read.  I regard him as one of my favorite contemporary poets. His work is meaningful, concise, and packs a punch without being didactic.
