  • Stupid!

  • some of my friends went to school with her, forever amazing love carie

  • jumpin around wasnt foolish, it was what bluegrass n banjo needed, a little oommph

  • I agree..A little bit too tactile lol.

  • This girl sure knows how to pic but i seriously can't get over the fact that she makes a total fool of her self jumping around like that on the stage. Might be my bluegrass conservatism talkin' but.... She knows how to pic that banjo though!

  • i just discovered an angel. hope you like your new home!

  • The tune that she's pickin is Earl's Breakdown. Great job. She was so early in her career, and she died so young. RIP.

  • Wendy was 20 years ahead of ALL the rest of the female artists in Bluegrass--not only was she a SUPER picker--but her arrangements are very innovative...

  • RIP

  • She also did this with Buck Trent.

  • A truly amazing, unique talent...with the best hair in bluegrass! What a tragedy for music that her career--and life!--were cut short by illness at such a young age!!

  • Wendy was an awesome talent! I agree with the last two comments. She was a pioneer with regard to the banjo, and with other instruments like guitar, fiddle and others. It's too bad that she was taken away from us in the mid 1980's.

  • It's amazing seeing this little hillbilly girl doing licks copied by great guitarists now, she was way ahead of her time.

  • Wendy Holcombe, the most darlingest entertainer in the world, with the most beautiful hair a going !!!! from your long lost love (afandan)
