ok.....im not a tech guy but i had to get a new shader-model graphics card, my computer is a hp pavillion so just look up the specs of that plus a shader model 3 NVida GeForce graph card

What is your CPU?

What effects performace is the amount of AI you have on the map as well as the part of the map you are looking at. If you are facing in a direction where there's lots of buildings then this also lowers the FPS. This is why there's many variables to take into account when asking about performace. Arma/OA/VBS is not like normal scripted games, where all that matters is you're CPU/GPU my friend.

Yes mate. As with Arma 2, what effects the FPS is the amount of AI you have on the map.

@MrTornadoman97 what is your system like that you run it on almost highest with 6000 view distance? What is your resolution? that's incredible. Neither one of my systems can handle ArmA2 like that. I get 45 fps-ish with everything set to high post process off and view at 1600. That's on my i7 460m laptop and my gtx 295/qx9650 set up... both of which using a 720 p res.

@UH1venom Available in JCOVE Lite are As Samawah and WarMinster, As Samawah is in Iraq and WarMinster is a training ground in the UK. :) As Samawah is huge though, 40km x 40km with Urban areas, small villages, open deserts, rivers, green zone, everything you could hope for, except hills - but warminster has LOTS of hills!

@Redheadfury Yeah Warminster itself isn't a training ground, though it is host to a barracks, it is however near to Salisbury Plains which is the UKs primary home training ground (the biggest UK training ground actually being in Canada)

Nope - add ons are against the EULA - it can't be allowed to compete with ArmA or ArmA 2 which BISim also make ;)

In it's own right, it's the full version. However, it's a 'lite' version of VBS2.

try out Operation Reality Community (ORC) they do VBS I think, although majority is ArmA 2 I beleive. :o

it's possible to share community created missions. However, at this time, it is against BI's default EULA that is packaged with JCOVE Lite.

you can ;) VBS2 PE. Personal Edition. Check the VBS2 website for sales info, and you get the full suite.
