I've used a bullwhip since I was 14 (now 33) and I have to say, these are fantastic looking. I've been looking for a good stock whip to buy and I now know where my next whip purchase will come from.
Hey badger this is stuart. I use 650 parachute cord. I've used 550 before and it doesn't come close to 650, and the reason I say that is cause the first nylon whip I made was 550 cord and it doesn't hold a good tight plait and it's almost like cotton compared to 650. Now you can pull your strands as tight as you want but don't pull too tight or you can perform a balancing act with it, I've done it! This whip is a 16 plait but you can make any whip have a good curl just pull your strands equally
Try Calling Stuart At 615-767-1244 and if that doesn't work try his email at silentstormwhips@yahoo.com His whips are the best I've ever used and his prices are great but if you can't get a hold of him I think Midwest Whips' hybrid whip might be the next best thing since Rhett Kelly isn't taking orders right now.

I also make stock whips bullwhips and snake whips. i dont charge extra for special orders unless you want extra strands braided into the whip to make it heavier, or your name in the handle or designs. my new number is 307-331-4477. thanks for watching and remember everything's better with a bullwhip!

i make my own whips and my plaiting is alright but what pattern and what plait amounts do you do to get that tight of a plait??
