2 OF MY FAVORITE GOSBEL SINGERS...RIP GONE TO SOON..BUT GOD NEEDED THEM MORE...THEY WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED...THEY SONG FROM THEIR HEARTS U CAN TELL...GOD IS GOOD..(SPEAKEN IN TONGUE)..
some people don't realize that frank williams died before james moore of poor health and you can see the different size of these two men. both of them loved the Lord and they gave their all to bring praises to Him. It just may have been their time...I really don't know, I just miss them both...

Him & the choir was at the airport getting to catch a flight home 2 Jackson when he collapsed shaking, shivering & unable 2 breath. He diead of a Heart Attack on March 27, 1993 at age of 45-years-old. Yours truly; Danette49.
TO: @chuki02; Frank Williams didn't died of cancer, what he died of was acute cardiorespiratory arrest (Heart Attack). He had battling with the debilitating Lung diseash Blastomycosis for 2 years witch had distroyed ninety (90)-percent of his lungs. Yours Truley; Danette49.
God is good he is real and needs to be more understood. In prayer in worship and praise. He has never turn his back on us, never walk out on us. Never broken a promise he is real. And I am so glad I serve a good God
when mom past i played this video allday. you know lost dad then mom it was too much. but the words touched all the things of life even death of love ones
There are gospel singers today that are anointed. The problem is that gospel record companies don't want to sign them. Gospel record companies just want to take music from the streets, switch the words and put Jesus in it so they can sell a lot of units. Gospel record companies don't care about an anointing. They only care about record sales.
What I love and appreciate about Gospel music is that it tells of the saving, delivering, keeping power of God and the provision of God to his people. He's the same God back then and the same God today. You can sing this song today as a testimony of your faith in God. I don't care who you are or where you're from or what you're going through, GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU, IT AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH YOU!! MY GOD I FEEL LIKE PREACHIN' BUT THIS ISN'T MY PLACE TO.
I tell you what. James Moore is not in any pain nor does he have any diabetes or lung cancer now. thank you saints for defending him. some people are to spiritually dead to be able to be blessed by true ministry, can't see past infirmities. Two giants in God, Jesus, that have gone home to be with our Lord Jesus.
Why must people always focus on the negative. No one is perfect we all make mistakes. This life we love so much can be taken away in an instant, whether we take care of ourselves or not. The ministry through their music and all the lives that it touches even today should be all you concern yourselves with. My grandmother has never been a healthy eater and she's over weight, she's a 100 and still standing. So what does that tell you!
@choctye1 Stop trying to justify the sinful act of destroying our bodies like that. God never meant it. This promoting of being fat in the black community is stupid and should stop now.
That is not what I meant, I think everyone should take care of themselves. It isn't a requirement to be thin in order to be saved. I'm merely pointing out that even if you do eat right that doesn't guarantee you won't become sick or develop diabetes like he did. However the video post has to do with the message of the song not his illness. You are entitled to how you feel and I'm entitled to how I feel.
He who is without sin let him cast the first stone!
@choctye1 I didn't say thin, but manageable weight. Not enough wait to give your a heart-attack. It's a grantee if you eat right and do what's right with your body that you will not gain diabetes. It's not an opinion, It's fact. Tired of people justifying being overweight. A hundred years ago, an overweight person would be rare, because people ate what they were suppose to eat. Today, chemicals and all other crap are putting put into food, thus destroying your metabolism and make you fat.
I worked for doctors and I've seen people that excercise and ate right that had diabetes. I've seen healthy people get sick and die of cancer as well. God is spirit that operates within the spirit and he looks at and judges the heart because he understands the shortcomings of his children. What you are talking about is disease being directly related to diet and it is a fact. I never justified obesity I said it had nothing to do with the message of this song and it still doesn't.
When you understand spirit you look at spirit, when you understand flesh you look at flesh. The message of the song is that if you're in Chirst no matter what your condition or situation in life that "God will take care of you". God doesn't judge people by their personal appearance because if he did we'd all be in trouble. If manageable weight for the African American Community is a concern of yours why not relate your ideas to people struggling with their weight in a postive way and help them.
Gospel music now adays has no anointing in it. Its all about record sales rather than ministering and bring Gods presence in peoples life. How sad. These two guys where ministers. They touched man and God
let rev. james moore's death be a lesson that we need to take care of our bodies!!! it's a shame that he suffered toward the end of his life. not being able to walk and then going blind!!! he didn't have to die so young. i don't think the lord called him home!!! instead, i think he died before his time!!!
I agree. I pray the saints use wisdom concerning health, diabetes doesn't have to be so tragic like it was to Rev. Moore. Take care of yourselves Saints.
I understand what ur sayin abt his weight but he was anointed. Unfortunately he had severe diabetes. I really don't knw if it was gluttony. We aren't the ones to say. It might have been genetic like obesity run in his family.
Rev. James Moore said himself (during the final stages of his life) that he wished he took better care of his body. Our bodies are our temple and we must take care of the bodies Jesus blessed us with.
OK I hope you get this....James Moore was born with diabetes and yes he was over weight but medicine was not as advanced as it is now and he did what he was told to do but the diabetes and the complication of the disease took over ...it had nothing to do with him not taking care of himself...and Frank died from Lung Cancer now what????
To: @dmandmusic Frank Williams did died from a Heart Attack & not from Lung Cancer, just because he was skinney when & before he died some folks thinks it was from Lun Cancer when it was from a Heart Attack nothing moore, nothing less.
TO: @dmandmusic; He (Frank) did die of Acute Cardiorespiratory (Hart Attack) at the hospital where the doctors was unable to stabilized or revive him. He was 45-years-old when he die. Yours truly; Danette49.
TO; @dmandmusic; You're right Frank did have a heart attack, that's what killed him. Now larsexy thinks that he died from Cancer but he didn't 'cause I have the Williams book call Still Standing Tall. On page 129 it tells what he diead of witch was a heart attack. Yours Truly; Danette49
TO: @larsexy; Frank didn't died from Lung Cancer, he had a heart attack that's what he died from. You see he had been battleing the debilitating Lung disease Blastomycosis witch destroyed 90 percent of his lungs. He died on March 27, 1993 at the age of 45-years-old. Yours truly; Danette49.
I kind of disagree, because my cousin is overweight, but he eats normal. He doesn't eat a lot of junk-food either. Some bodies are just different. Yeah, In the past he almost did have diabetics. But I do agree with you Stefan, you are absolutely right on that one! Some of us don't value our health. Nothings wrong with eating healthy. I eat healthy great dishes, and sometimes indulge every now and then. Health should be vital in the African American Community.
I thought he was poisoned which caused hom to go blind and probably to die remember he used to testify about it right before he died? but i still agree with your point
i love james moore his singing is so anointed god used his sining to deliver me when i was goin threw when i saw him live at church in memphis when i was i the international church choir sincerely SENCERE.
You know, regarding what the MMC was wearing during this recording, I am glad they got back into wearing uniforms after this recording. No offense to anybody, but it just didn't look right without uniforms.
Are you referring to the same "Yes, Lord" that was recorded on this album? If so, I may be able to post it by this weekend or next week. However, I will check YouTube to make sure no one else has posyed it before I do. Either way, I'll let you know something, okay? ;-)
Be BLESSED in ALL you think, say, and do. Remember to be a blessing so that you're positioned to receive blessings.
@jaetea25 now dats real talk.... I rmember my momma playin this when she would clean up the house... i wud sit there playing wit toys n stuff but I remember the songs till this day.. that was like 91' 92'.... graduated from college in 09' and I can look bak on this and see he will take care of u
This can not be rehearsed. They were singing under the control and anointing of the Holy Ghost. You can look in their eyes and see that this was coming from a personal relationship with God. Mississippi Mass Choir was no joke. They sang for the glory of God.
I agree with you for I was there live in Mississippi when this recording was going on. I tell you the Lord was in this place. I also use to sing with Rev. James Moore he played for Elder Albert Pass in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
These two caused angels tears to fall and bow down on bended knees, for they sing the songs of redemption...........and that's songs that the angels can't sing.
And I can hear the angels requesting them to sing the songs of ZION for them....they sing all day for there is no night there, and they will never run out of breath, for the TREEE OF LIFE IS IN THE MIST OF THAT CITY CALLED HEAVEN...OHHHH! DON'T YOU WANT TO GOOOO. PRAISE THE LORD SOMEBODY!!!!!!
You can get the CD from Malaco Records it's $14.95. This company was one of the only few outlets during that time. So they feature Great Gospel & secular artist of both yesterday & today. A good place to always look first........
Does anyone know what CD this is on? and would it still be in stores i got to have this osng os i can play it in my car and house this song is Holy Spirit filled
It's already posted to YouTube. Search "Walter Hawkins", "Love Alive", or "Yvette Flunder" (forgive my misuse of the comma). I've seen that video recently.
Be blessed in all you do according to God's design and purpose for your life!!!
I miss James Moore & Frank Williams, Whenever I Hear the songs God Will Take Of you, Praise Him, He was there all the time, and Cherish the cross I think about the two of them.
TO: @jarvisbrodiea1; Yes Frank did you see if it hadn't been for (him) Frank Williams then there wouldn't been a Mississippi Mass Choir 2day. Because of him they excise 2 this day, thank God for him & he's now up N Heavan wearing his white rob & slippers. Yours truly; Danette49.
I miss that type of singing folk James Moore and Frank Williams where the best in their day. Daryel Coley is good but he cant touch them they sing from the sole not like J moss and Tonex no dis I love them too but this Is the gospel I miss
The difference is that Rev. James Moore sang under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Many singers have not been baptized in the Holy Ghost and baptized in the fire.
You dont see recordings like this anymore this is when people got saved at recording, people got delivered, strong holds where broken, people got converted to the love of God...now it more for show and fashion, but God Will take care of you Thank Ya Lord
Helped a friend move from New York to South Carolina years ago. We played this gospel album both ways repeatedly. Any budding gospel artist MUST listen and watch this performance that glorified God!
I remember watching the vhs of this entire show. Beautiful from beginning to end. That had to be about 15-20 years ago. People need to understand that this is that old school singing that's just not sung anymore. Two of the greatest male gospel singers ever. RIP James Moore and Frank Williams
Rev James Moore voice is/was thee most annointed voices i've ever heard. His ministering has brought me thru some of the most trying times in my life. i would just like to thank GOD for gracing us with his existance and that beautiful instrument he Possessed ... his voice
i was hopeing that i would have had a chance to see him live in concert. when i found out he had passed away. i sobbed as if he was my relative. i like to sing and i wld have loved to have had a chance to work with him.
You'll get your chance to sing with James Moore in heaven.
I want to work with him also. When I saw James sing and preach, he was blind and in a wheelchair. He filled the entire symphony hall with the Holy Ghost.
Rev. James Moore is not just the best gospel singer but the best singer period. He had incredible range. And he sang, preached and played the organ under the anointing of the Holy Ghost.
This was probably one of the greatest gospel albums ever produced. Done live, not many performances have the unction of the Spirit, passion, and the exaltation of Christ in one. In the words of one old time sage " if this aint that, I'll take this, until that comes."
It sounds as though His Word is manifesting itself. Keep speaking it; your dreams will come to pass. Psalm 37:4 reads: "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."
AAAAAAAAAAAaaa is GGGGGGOOOD - GOD so so so so SSSSSSSSSSSSSoooooooo GOOD. This is not me but him moving in me. AAAAaaa on that day, the day of reality on this dream, in the blessing, I pray you are there "it's so hard sitting in this chair now". From the streets, in his teachings, boy to a man, problems, through a war, envy from others, in the face of Death, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa Holy holy holy holy HOLY - LOOK AT GOD, LOOK AT GOD.
You just don't hear it like this anymore

You know, regarding what the MMC was wearing during this recording, I am glad they got back into wearing uniforms after this recording. No offense to anybody, but it just didn't look right without uniforms.

Does anyone have "Say Yes Lord"? Please Please post this video.

This can not be rehearsed. They were singing under the control and anointing of the Holy Ghost. You can look in their eyes and see that this was coming from a personal relationship with God. Mississippi Mass Choir was no joke. They sang for the glory of God.
Jhn3n16 3 years ago 9

It's already posted to YouTube. Search "Walter Hawkins", "Love Alive", or "Yvette Flunder" (forgive my misuse of the comma). I've seen that video recently.
Be blessed in all you do according to God's design and purpose for your life!!!

I miss that type of singing folk James Moore and Frank Williams where the best in their day. Daryel Coley is good but he cant touch them they sing from the sole not like J moss and Tonex no dis I love them too but this Is the gospel I miss
cenyon82 3 years ago 2
The difference is that Rev. James Moore sang under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Many singers have not been baptized in the Holy Ghost and baptized in the fire.
Stefan990 3 years ago
You dont see recordings like this anymore this is when people got saved at recording, people got delivered, strong holds where broken, people got converted to the love of God...now it more for show and fashion, but God Will take care of you Thank Ya Lord

His ministering has brought me thru some of the most trying times in my life. i would just like to thank GOD for gracing us with his existance and that beautiful instrument he Possessed ... his voice
consuelo14 3 years ago
I saw James Moore sing and preach live. He was Highly Anointed. There's a difference between talent and the anointing. You must be baptized:
Baptized in Water.
Baptized in the Holy Ghost
Baptized in Fire.
When you see him shake (7:01), that's fire.
Stefan990 3 years ago 2
i was hopeing that i would have had a chance to see him live in concert. when i found out he had passed away. i sobbed as if he was my relative. i like to sing and i wld have loved to have had a chance to work with him.

Stefan990 3 years ago
This was probably one of the greatest gospel albums ever produced. Done live, not many performances have the unction of the Spirit, passion, and the exaltation of Christ in one. In the words of one old time sage " if this aint that, I'll take this, until that comes."
fothgt 3 years ago
