I just finished fixing this problem minutes ago...
You just bend the sear further up.. make sure to keep that pleatue, just bend it higher so that its less of a hair trigger.
When it wont stop firing like that its called 'stovepiping', MG's would get so hot, that the next round would ignite without being struck. The only way to stop it was to grab the bolt (dangerous) or fold the belt and let it tear/jam..
