That is amazing. I've never seen a preview screening of a movie before, but I would have loved to see one of How to Train Your Dragon. Lucky.. :P

soo do u guys live in california cause i HAVE NEVER heard of a movie screening where i come from...were there scenes that the public wouldnt get to see then? like they edited it later on? and someone said 1/4 of the movie wasnt animated yet?? just curious....

The movie was the same, but I noticed just some minor tweaking in the script. And what I meant by "1/4 wasn't finsihed" was that some scences were shown in sketch form or really basic 3D animation. It was kinda fun to see though! In the final version, all those scence were finished of course. :P

Unfortunately, no you can't. I was just lucky to be at the right place at the right time when the screening flyers were being passed out.

And it happens near the end, so nothing significant. Though, I was told that the movie could change since the screening. So who knows if they left those scenes in or if they cut them out.

I got invited to watch a special screening of the movie in November. It was funny since 1/4 of it wasn't even finished being animated yet! haha

hey, i've read all the books of the series (this is based on the 1st one) and astrid was not in any of them! So, could you tell me who the heck is she, and if there's any romance between her and Hiccup? Please?

She's basically the tomb boy tough girl who's one of the best fighters out of all the kids. Hiccup likes her and thinks she's attractive. She gets jealous of Hiccup because he eventually outshines her.

There isn't much romance. She practically treats him coldly him through the whole movie until near the ending. There was a a peck on the cheek and lips, but nothing significant happened romance wise.
