I enjoyed this though there was only one male f/a shown in the whole tribute. About 30% of the f/a's at my airline (2nd largest airline in the world) are men. For any homophobes out there about 1/2 of those guys are straight. I'm a guy who's flown for 2 major u.s. airlines for 20 years now. I've evacuated pax, saved a choking baby, saved 2 heart attack victims, delt with several seizures, etc. I'm a proud part of the Flight Attendant lexicon and would have liked to see other guys in the tribute.
Having flown commercially for many years with the Postal Service I have watched many FA's doing their jobs. These ladies deserve every cent they get in salary. I have always wondered why airlines do not have "tip" containers at the exit / entrance doors to reward those ladies who do an excellent job of handling their "HUMAN CARGO".

This is really good. I don't think people relize how hard they work and how much training is put into it. Not to mention what cabin crew actually do in the case of an emergency. Most people think all they're good for is smiling and serving drinks :|

Passengers usually forget the importance of safety and get mad with the Flight Attendants for changing seats issues or running out of meal choices or complains of no one helping them to put their heavy bags into overhead locker(whoes bags are they, excuse me? why ask others to stow your own bags?)
when I was in kindergarden everybody used to dress up for flights. Now it's like riding a subway, some of the flight attendants are rude and ugly. They dont have "the neat apperance" look like they just crawl out of bed and wear their unpressed uniform.
Yeah I know what you mean. Back then flying was fun for everyone and now its just a pain for most people (but I still think its fun). F/As are now basically flying security guards instead of the flying concierges they were back then. There under so much stress and there constantly monitoring aircraft safety and they never know if they'll be forced to rush a suicide bomber if one happens to be onboard as was the case with American Airlines flight 63.

AF358 Flight Attendants evacuated the fully loaded, burning A340-300 in under 90 seconds with only half of the exits available.
Seconds after the last crew member escaped, the plane exploded....

Departures would take longer as there'd be constant fighting over seating arrangements,
Arrivals would be disasterous with people getting up before landing,
Meal refreshments & especially alcohol would be ransacked before departure,
Smoking fires onboard,
& the toilets would be a constant cesspool breeding ground for producing more morons like yourself

This is really good. I don't think people relize how hard they work and how much training is put into it. Not to mention what cabin crew actually do in the case of an emergency. Most people think all they're good for is smiling and serving drinks :|

I gusse that jobs in the air are more professional because they look professional, and because they almost know about everything that happens in there. I gusse some people love it in the sky cause you get to see alot of things when flying in a lower altitude.

Passengers usually forget the importance of safety and get mad with the Flight Attendants for changing seats issues or running out of meal choices or complains of no one helping them to put their heavy bags into overhead locker(whoes bags are they, excuse me? why ask others to stow your own bags?)

when I was in kindergarden everybody used to dress up for flights. Now it's like riding a subway, some of the flight attendants are rude and ugly. They dont have "the neat apperance" look like they just crawl out of bed and wear their unpressed uniform.

Yeah I know what you mean. Back then flying was fun for everyone and now its just a pain for most people (but I still think its fun). F/As are now basically flying security guards instead of the flying concierges they were back then. There under so much stress and there constantly monitoring aircraft safety and they never know if they'll be forced to rush a suicide bomber if one happens to be onboard as was the case with American Airlines flight 63.
