It simply is not possible for AK to be in that room involved in that murder leaving zero dna. Head investigator Edgardo Giobbi said that they knew she was guilty without physical evidence. Her interrogation yielded an obviously false statement: the part with Patrick being there was as made up as the part with her being there. She went to jail in part because of this false statement. @lotorobly 'Indifference' is a bit unfair. Amanda fell into this mess in the first place, because she wanted to stay around to meet Meredith's family and to help police find the killer. All of Meredith's English 'friends' flew off home immediately. Amanda, against the advice of her famiy, stayed around to help. She was at the police station VOLUNTARILY for the first few days, until the Perugian police finally turned around and realised their dinner had been home delivered that night! ;-)

In America it takes a reasonable scenario or motive backed up by proven factual, competently accumulated evidence before it can be allowed to be used in court. @Phalinex i dont know what level of knowledge u have bout -it is not just the first declaration she signed stating she was there and Lumumba was the man. It is toghether the fact that afterward in her own note under no pressure she informed wasnt so sure if what she said was true.What does it mean? And wanted Sollecito to support her alibi-but their story never matched very much at any point: how can it be if they r saying JUST THE TRUTH? @Phalinex and again about her signed statement about Lumumba: be aware that 1) nobody has been tortured and nobody else has claimed unfair investigators treatment, including Lumumba who was brought in as SUSPECT OF PHYSICAL MURDER 2) she never withdrew those declarations and went ahead with the "maybe" up to the end, in a very similar attitude to the criminal Guede, a curious series of "maybes" that absolutely cant go well toghether with somebody who should tell the plain truth to police
