6500 slide disassembly

my lcd screen keeps playing up. it will not display image correctly. i buoght a new lcd screen off ebay and used this excellent video to replace it. however even know(and with the old screen) sometimes the screen works, other times it dosn't. i cleaned the ribbon connectors of dust using air can but still hit and miss. any other things to look out for? thanks guys

When buying tape look carefully. My turned out to have "fake" front camera, front keys suck. Buy originals.

So much for changing a front cover, omg O.o I used my own set of screwdrivers (for glasses) and i re-used the screws though. From experience with alot of small electronic devices i see no problem with this as long as you are careful.

does anyone know how to switch the memory car security on? i have reset the password and everything, but it doesn't ask me for the password when i go into the memory card! i know the password, and the optin is there to change it or delete it etc, but it wont ask me for it when i go in everytime :/ how do i switch it on? it asked me for it once when i first bought the fone, and never again after that, any help? thanks alot
