Because it's a psychical problem. Dog can really hurt his tail, then legs.

But i was working with her like for a year, so she's not catching her tail anymore. Well, maybe a little, then she's happy :}

dont worry it is common for some shepherds, they wont hurt themselves doing it. It shows excitement.

Several can injure themselves, though... it can be very bad for them and unbalance they phycalogically. (sp) =]

my best friend was a german shepherd. His owner was my second best friend. Both died. The memory remains. I love these dogs.
