  • Lovely, clear concise instructions. Thank-you.

  • WOW what big yarn you have there!

Why doesn't yarn come the way you've wound it? Why do they sell it in hanks (short for Henry's?)? Hey how about a rubber band to hold that tail of yarn to your wrist so you don't have to do that funny thing with your thumb?

  • Thanks! This totally saved me a trip to the knitting store on a snowy day!

  • Thank you, Megan!

  • Thanks for this one. I like the idea of center pull yarn and now can show my daughter how to do this. Thanks

  • Thank you, I should be able to wind my yarn into a center ball.

  • So far I like way of winding a ball the BEST!!!

Great job and thanks for this video! :)

  • Very nice and clear. Thank you.

  • Nice view

  • Very nice! I was looking for a good tut on this, and this one is perfect. I'm winding sock yarn from the hank. I use two or three fingers too, and this showed me what i was doing wrong(just going around and around and around in a circle.) Now I'll criss cross. :) some other videos had methods using a thumb or a thumb and a pinky, but this seems best. :)

  • Thank you for this video! I didn't want to have to buy a yarn ball winder. Now I can do it myself!

  • I just watched this and then did it =) thanks for posting! *thumbs up*

  • Great video!!! You do it so easy!!! I will definitely try it. Hope it will turn out like yours. Thanks for the video.

  • So much easier to understand than any of the other videos! Thank you.
