Why are these DUMMIES laughing? This was a REF's call YEARS ago in the NFL from Jerry Markright. So, why laugh at something that is NOT funny. Stupid announcers.
(sry only 12 and i got scared) few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
Lol who watched the tcu vs baylor game at the beginning of the season when the refs called a false start and said "false start, everybody but the center, 5 yard penalty first down." lol
@Tiger2685 how are you supposed to film something with a microwave? that does not make anysense. if your trying to be funny, i really dont get it... at all.
@layerofdoom What I was trying to say is that a microwave couldn't film anything, that's why the quality is so bad. Hope this clears up some confusion.
@SarahAndEmily12345 It's just unsportsman-like conduct. He was mocking/taunting the guy he just blocked and the ref must've heard him and decided to throw the flag.
Ben Dreith an NFL ref used "giving him the business" to describe a play where Marty Lyons tackled Jim Kelly and repeatedly punched him the head. This ref is just being funny.
That Ref must have absolutely no life, if he called that flag on the fly like that. Do you think he read that in the Rule book when he first got it, and said, "OMG I have got to get to call one of these in my Career!" He should win something. And as far as the 37-0 in the 4th, maybe that Ref is being paid to throw the game, that or maybe the Wolf Pack should play the game and stop giving everyone the Business. LOL
@SuperToastbrot100 obviously, "giving him the business" inst a real penalty. but the ref didnt even know how to explain the foul... so he jjust made that up. x)
If u watch closely, you'll see the lineman block his guy to the ground and than start shoving him down and throwing short punches. It's on the left side of the line.
at first I thought he said he was giving him the finger. That makes more sense than giving him the business. Call it delay of game or interference, but giving him the business. That makes no sense at all.
@arturlasko It was a personal foul, probably unnecessary roughness, and the referee just called it "giving him the business: which is an old football expression for dirty play.
american football isnt a real sport try playing rugby and if you dnt know its a bit like american football but no fat ass shoulder pads or helmets oh yeah and play doesnt stop everytime someones tackled lmao
@09joncri except you throw the ball fucking backwards. Every other fucking sport you progress the ball forwards to gain ground. What the fuck is the point of throwing the god damn ball backwards. I tried out for rugby in high school. Once I found out you can't throw the ball forwards I quit.
@xBABYxKICKERx Giving him the business refers to an old NFL call when Marty Lyons started punching Jim Kelly when he was on the ground. If you watch the video at about :04 seconds you can see #69 mount the player and start to hit him before the camera frames them out. So this really wasn't a bad call at all.
"Ron Cherry with the quote of the year." He must have watched "Leave It To Beaver" when it was on because Wally and Eddie were always scheming on "going over to Lumpy's and givin' him the business."
The official rule book of the NFL rule book weighs 76 Ibs with 8045 pages. On chapter 92 section 12 paragraph 4 sentence 2, When an offensive player tackles from behind, and lays on top of the defensive player for more than 6 seconds, slowly gets up while whispering into the defender's ear about how great the 6+ seconds were, the offensive player will be penalized for "giving him the business" and will result in a 10 yard penalty.
@MsFootba11 What the hell? Why do you and so many other people think everything is fake? Is a referee saying that a player was giving another player "the business" really that impossible? Idiot.
Personal foul 69 offense, ' he was giving him the business'..LMFAO!! Can't stop laughing..wish more refs can real as this one..lol. Call it like it is..lol
LOL if you watch close at about the 0:04 mark, you can see 69 hit the guy on the ground. Contrary to popular belief ground and pound is only legal in MMA. Great call. The original "giving him the business" call was also for punching a player on the ground. I love it!!!
