this song... is FUCKING AWFUL. i get it, she's singing about something meaningful and i respect that. but the song itself is absolutley terrible. i work at stop and shop and have the displeasure of hearing this song at least once a week, and during those few minutes when it's on, i want to die. this is singlehandedly THE WORST song i probably ever have and ever will listen to in my life. how can anyone musically enjoy this garbage? again, i'm not bashing the message, but the song is awful.

My mother has breast cancer with metastasise. She's in pain. Tomorrow is her first chemotherapy of many that she has to take before surgery. Doctor said it's agressive one and she will lose her hair in a few weeks. She has a very beautiful hair, something like Marlyn Monroe's style. I hope my mother will keep running, for hope, to feel, fot truth....for me....becuse I can't imagine my life without her....
I lost my hair, and it grew back slowly but surely. Your mother is more than her hair, it is important, but maybe there are other things that are more important.

I love this song. I've never had cancer affect my life personally, but I know it's a hard ordeal for those who do have to deal with it, and the people close to them. This song just proves this, and even now, I send out my sympathy and best wishes to those who are having trouble and facing it.

Cancer moved into our home my husband has Malignant melanoma in the lungs and now brain, He has maybe 2 months, What an inspiration this song is. Honestly its an Anthem. God love you all and one day they find the cure. CUCK FANCER

i have the displeasure of hearing this song at work nearly every shift, and i gotta say (despite the message), THIS IS PERHAPS THE WORST SONG ON EVER!!!!!!! i mean how the hell can anyone enjoy this shit? like i said, i'm sure there's a good message and meaning, but the song itself is just so bad, it's ridiculous. this singer has to have one of the worst voices i've ever heard in my entire life, and i really don't understand what compells someone to actually listen to this song for pleasure.

Yea, they played it at the luminary ceremony at Relay For Life too. It seems to have become the 'official' song for cancer.

Beautiful! We just did the "Race For The Cure" today, in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. They played this song at the opening ceremony. I run for my sister Annette, and all those who have been touched by breast cancer. Let's all continue the fight! Thank you so very much for posting this powerful song.

Farrrah's Story was so powerful and after losing a loved one to cancer four years ago, Farrah's Story and this song fits what dignity and courage most cancer patients posess. Beautiful documentary and that song brought back so many memories...laughter and tears of the loved one we cherished, and lost. Cancer comes from the pit of hell ! It is so dark!

I'm sorry you lost a partner to cancer it must have been... words can not describe it. I remember all of the pain I put my partner Julie through and my parents I remember my mom crying telling me "I have always prayed I would never have to out live my children" it was soo very heart breaking cause their wasn't anything I could do to stop their pain. Luckily I am a survivor now and what almost killed me gave me a re birth. God bless you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. My prayers are with you. My dog has cancer. He keeps getting very thin and his left back leg is weak. But he still eats ok. I wish someday we can find a cure for cancer.

That darkness that knocls on your door that Melissa talks about is so true. 18 mo. my husband was dianosed with Malignant Melanoma, it spread from his leg to stage 4 Lung Cancer. He will leave my 15 yr old and myself soon. I know times are hard in this economy. If you can run or walk. give up a cup of coffee. Pls donate it to Cancer Research, My prayers to anyone out there who didn;t get a knock on the door, it moved in and it takes on the way out, God Bless

that cancer is not a time to feel beaten or alone.
It can be a chance to come together and run, or row Dragon Boats, or do yoga
and be part of a process that stands up to the big C, gets more research done, and hopefully increase survival outcomes.

this song is so powerful and heart touching, i am a runner, and i just ran a jacksonville breast cancer marathon, it truly touches your heart, and you see people out there actually running even though they have breast cancer, and survivors, i tell you, those kind of people are the strongest people i have ever met.....they will never give up

this song... is FUCKING AWFUL. i get it, she's singing about something meaningful and i respect that. but the song itself is absolutley terrible. i work at stop and shop and have the displeasure of hearing this song at least once a week, and during those few minutes when it's on, i want to die. this is singlehandedly THE WORST song i probably ever have and ever will listen to in my life. how can anyone musically enjoy this garbage? again, i'm not bashing the message, but the song is awful.

My mother has breast cancer with metastasise. She's in pain. Tomorrow is her first chemotherapy of many that she has to take before surgery. Doctor said it's agressive one and she will lose her hair in a few weeks. She has a very beautiful hair, something like Marlyn Monroe's style. I hope my mother will keep running, for hope, to feel, fot truth....for me....becuse I can't imagine my life without her....

I lost my hair, and it grew back slowly but surely. Your mother is more than her hair, it is important, but maybe there are other things that are more important.
Try and support her when you can, and I hope there is someone there to support you as well.

I love this song. I've never had cancer affect my life personally, but I know it's a hard ordeal for those who do have to deal with it, and the people close to them. This song just proves this, and even now, I send out my sympathy and best wishes to those who are having trouble and facing it.
And to those who say this song is bad, let's see if you still say this if your life is affected by cancer. Really, appreciate a great song for what it is.

every time i hear this song i justbreak down because i feel the emotional side effects of the pain that the families go through and i couldnt imagine having to live without a loved one was put to sleep by cancer, let alone ve the one with it!
