This hit was clean period. People are calling it dirty because of the player that was involved. Pause the video at 4 seconds and you will see that Gillies is off to the side in front of Cluterbuck. The Wild commentators are huge homers. They call Cluterbuck's hit on Tavares clean, when it was obviously from behind. Cluterbucks hit Tavares, the islanders best player. Cluterbuck paid the price, that's what happens in the NHL. Its always been that way. Gillies hit was not a head hit.
