@capablemachine they are polar opposites. how can u say roots folk rock with messages of socially conscious lyrics with depth, and incredibly ecclectic techniqually amazing guitar playing is equal to children's radio music written for the purpose of making money from stupid 13 yr old girls that contain 3 power chords and a chorus. one had substance the other is weak as fuck. im not passionate about this, its just common sense.
@4thevol John Butler is a very good guitarist, however the things I have heard on the radio completely lack imagination and the depth of technical skill he's capable of. The "socially conscious" message is bullshit, John Butler has it easy. He's another stoned out hippie.
