Composizione interessante e gradevole, tra le opere in stile Biedermeyer, soprattutto rispetto ad altri Autori della stessa epoca. Il linguaggio e la tecnica così originali di Vieuxtemps sono accentuati in questa Composizione con un carattere ancora più libero del solito, dando così ad ogni interprete solista la chance di esprimere le proprie doti con estrema libertà. Un singolare gioiello tra le innumerevoli opere violinistiche della lettaratura dell'Ottocento !!!
This HAS to be one of my favourite pieces of all time. Such emotion... when I want to listen to something divine this is my piece of choice. VERY unfortunate that it is cut off though at the "end" there. Would LOVE to hear more of this!!
Aan de bijschriften te zien heb je het zelf ook gestudeerd? Ik heb het momenteel bijna onder de knie en zou het graag uitvoeren met mijn nonkel die pianist is in augustus. Is het samenspelen moeilijk of valt de pianopartij onder de categorie 'pure begeleiding'?
I'm not sure who the soloist is, but it sounds a lot like Marat Bisengaliev. I also thought of Misha Keylin, but the playing here doesn't have the cleanliness that his does.
Bought the sheet music for the violin and piano version for 2 pounds from a used bookstore. Maybe one day i'll play it. Maybe.
