Well the thing is, Norse just means in that general area. The reason it is called Norse Mythology is because it Norway was one of the last territories to take on Catholicism. I think that is what I learned in Mythology class.

In fact I'm still a member of the danish church and I pay my tax to preserve the buildings......we are all born equal.....But deep inside our veins the blood of the wikings float.......We may only be less than 20 mio. In Völuspá, Oden creates human together with Höner and Lodur, not Vile and Ve. Snorre wrote that the three Borsons created human, and the three Borsons is as you said; Oden, Vile and Ve. But Snorre never mention Vile and Ve, just the Borsons. And Völuspá is older than Snorres Edda and there Höner and Lodur is mentioned.

Well the thing is, Norse just means in that general area. The reason it is called Norse Mythology is because it Norway was one of the last territories to take on Catholicism. I think that is what I learned in Mythology class.

Blue/green eyes are mainly to allow more light to enter due to the fact that the sun has a hard time reaching up north, they say brown eyes are dominant, that might be chainging, i know 8 families with 1browneyed and 1blueeyed parents, out of 22 children only 4 has brown eyes.

There are Odinists who are from the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, Wales, etc. who speak English first, then there are Odinists in Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Holland, Norway, Iceland, etc, etc, who speak English as a second tongue.
