dude is not talking about agoraphobia. he is mistaken. agoraphobia is when you are paralyzed when thinking of the outside world. most are very paranoid, and have severe delusions. voice patterns and physical movements are jarred and erratic, and most exhibit major emotional distress, in public.

It's jusr my PERSONAL opinion.

I'm able to go outside, I'm "just" afraid of big places with many people, and that's what agoraphpobia really is: it means "fear of the marketplace". But it's okay if some body I know is with me.

And by the way, Woody Allen is an agoraphobe too! :)
