Though Wendy had existed years before that in cartoons like the one playing the video during the 70's and even earlier through her 60's comic debut as Casper's longest time female friend whom he's been smitten with (and she for him, since she always angers her aunties whenever "thinking of Casper").

@GOREgousdEVIL: Then which one were you speaking of? The one in 1995? That one was made specifically as Universal first outing with the friendly spook. In fact, Kat was supposed to Wendy originally, but Universal didn't want to pay royalties to use her at the time, so the made Kat up. In the subsequent animated series based on the 1995 film, however, Kat dumps Casper for a real boy, around the same time that cousin Spooky and his girl Pearl (called "Poil") were introduced.

This was one of the TV-produced stories (animation by Paramount's New York cartoon studio) seen on "THE NEW CASPER CARTOON SHOW" in 1963-'64.

Minisode: Yes, the Trio were in the modern Casper films. Sadly, Spooky's only been in recent adaptations & Wendy's only been in "Casper and Wendy".
