  • Yup, unemployment averaged 17.5% during the New Deal era so if Obama follows FDR's footsteps, all he needs is a major world war to take place on his watch to get his ass bailed out like his hero FDR.

Oh, and he should intern 100,000's of U.S citizens in concentration camps and confiscate their property if he really wants to be FDR-like.

  • She understands that the Karl Marx quote she quoted had little to do with spreading the wealth, and rather how individuals take and give to society for the greater good. Gotta love misinformed individuals.

  • does Biden even actually do anything now that he's the vice president? I haven't heard about a single thing he's done, except for the occasional gaffe or fluff piece, which is a shame, since he's a smooth SOB

  • he's responsible for making sure the stimulus money is creating jobs because "no one messes with with Joe"

That is, except all those people in the imaginary Congressional Districts that have imaginary jobs

  • wow, the conservative media can be pretty comical at times

  • Hey!! I got part of Joe The Plumber's Wealth!! I got $2.59, What did you get????? Joe the plumber was a freaking PLANT, and a bad one at that! They didn't count on the press digging into his name, his job or his financial situation! They were all FALSE. Worse yet, they tried to say that Obama treated Joe The Plumber badly when he met him, and the actual TAPES show how kind and reassuring Obama was to him! Barbara West is a puppet and a tool.

  • Joe mothafuckin biden.. whawt a fuckin pimp

  • It's almost as though this whole interview was staged.

  • Okay I don't prefer any particular politician's nutsack over another or anything like that, and I just have to say LOL at this video. He peed deep into her mouth the whole time haha.

  • Great job Joe!

  • April 15 2009, watch out government, the American people are coming.

  • Same for NBC,CBS,ABC,MSNBC for hard questions for BOTH SIDES (never gonna happen) I have NEVER seen any of these 4 networks fire at Barnie Frank for (Frannie & Freddie) The point is this congress (repubs. & dems.) have a big surprise coming in 2010 they will be all fired.

  • Tax cuts DO WORK, (BUT) tax cuts DON'T work while spending. That is what Bush did, it did not work for Bush.

Obama is just SPENDING, both Repubs. & Dems. are at fault for this mess. I don't blame one side i blame both, that is fact.

For this news woman, i give her credit, iam all for hard questions on BOTH SIDES, she did her job, you herd Biden, " are you serious"??? she caught him off guard, Biden thought FREE PASS.

the change is coming april 15 & 2010 from the American people.

  • This woman DID HER JOB!!!!!!!

Bush spent (4 TRILLION) IN 8 YEARS

Obama has spent (3.5 TRILLION) IN 3 MONTHS HMMMMMMMMMMM

    IS OBAMA BUSH ON STEIODS????

    (YEPPPPPPPPPPP)

  • Great video!

God, I love Vice President Biden!

    He OWNED her!

  • this bitch is a real fucking cunt, with a capital "C". mouthpiece cunt.

  • how the fuck can that bitch say that sweden in socialist!

  • The middle class are having a harder time affording anything (high prices for gas, heat, buying a home, food, etc.) making it harder for buisnesses to make money, because the majority of middle class are not spending. And I know the point of "work harder, make more money" but if you are happy where you are, maybe happy as a middle class citizen, why should you? And if you want to make more, please be generous enough to give some back.

  • I do think in one of the points about taxes, higher taxes should be for the people who can afford it. People making more than $250,000 +. Taxes on the middle class is part of what is hurting the economy.

  • Don't let 08' be an "Obamanation".

  • Biden claims Obama is not for weath re-ditribution, yet in an interview for NPR in 2001 he says the exact same thing to a tee.

Nowhwere in that interview do you hear, then State Sen Obama talk about the need for middle-class taxcuts. Wealth re-distribution however is mentioned promenently.

So either Biden is a)naive b)stupid c) a liar d)All of the above

  • Must be a Fix Noise reporter that has been inbreed to produce zipper heads that are delusional inverted reptile brains that is, up is down, in is out and BUSHed and MCCinsane is right for America??? BUSHed/CHElamey/MCCinsane/imPALIN, WAR/WAR/WAR/WAR, World DEPRESSION/DEPRESSION/DEPRESSION/DEPRESSION, CORRUPTION/CORRUPTION/CORRUPTION/CORRUPTION, CRIMINALITY/CRIMINALITY/CRIMINALITY/CRIMINALITY, REPUBLICAN/REPUBLICAN/REPUBLICAN/REPUBLICAN !!!!!!!

  • Forget to take your lithium latte today?

  • Biden is just a guy that doesn't take shit from anybody. He answered the questions completely, but made it clear the answers she wanted him to give were not going to happen. I'd rather have a leader in the form of Biden than Bush or McCain or Palin any day.

  • You are just uninformed, he lied throughout the whole interview (especially on the spread the wealth around business). He is the most arrogant person on the planet. Imagine that Sarah do an interview like that! It would be a circus all over the place!

  • Sarah has done worse interviews. Biden has not. Biden has years of experience, he is well respected and IMO a bad motherfucker. That is who you want in charge, not "gee golly" Palin or The Old Guy. I must respectfully disagree with you. I don't recall any lying in that interview, as Biden would say "I don't know where you get your conclusions from."

  • Let me refresh your memories about his lies!

1 Obama was a benefactor of ACORN

2He criticizes Bush for his economic policies accusing him of redistributing the wealth but this is exactly the words out of Obama's mouth as the solution

3He state that Obama intentions are not spreading the wealth around contradicting Obama's comment to Joe P

4"give back(the middle class)the tax break they use to have" Joe there is none

5The warning about if O is elected He was talking about O not the next president

  • I believe these are called talking points. Maybe you should run for vice president and debate Biden. I know Palin did a "gee golly good ol' job." But please answer the debate questions the way they should be answered. The answers might make more sense than Palin's...

  • Talking points! they are FACTS what are you taking about?! (endless numbers of videos are not a evidence to you.. just talking points.. OK)of course are talking points to you, the next move is to call me a Nazi, Fascist or Racist. Now you shift from interviews to the debate, here is some news flash for you, there is 14 factual lies that Biden regurgitate during the debate! Dude, be an individual thinker, do your own research and come to your own conclusion! :/

  • I just don't think your points were all that damaging. I commented on what I think the gov't should do with taxes, and Obama's are closer to what I think should be done. I don't believe a WHOLE lot wrong in his plan, it's pretty good, maybe not perfect.

High taxes = who can afford it. Want to work harder for more money? That's fine, but be generous. Give some back to the U.S. community (not ALL, but SOME. Please stay RICH). Enable all classes to SOME degree. We all live here. We'd appreciate it

  • Of course is not perfect And what you think might work is been proven by history that don't work, Higher taxes= slowing down the economy. Every body got less "economic room" to maneuver financially. The people that makes money are the one taking the big risk of loosing everything to get a profit. So lead by example Joe Biden in 10yr has earned $2,450,042 and donated only $3,690 to charity in 10 YEARS!! That's generous! So at least we agree with something Obama's plan is not perfect.

  • Higher taxes CAN work if it is not too high, and it is affordable (so you actually don't notice you lost $). When you are making $250,000,000 +, it's just easier to afford taxes. And this has worked. It worked under Clinton (i know, bad word!! ...sorry...). We had a surplus. The rich stayed rich, the middle class stayed middle class. It's going to be the same way under Obama. Don't worry.

  • when is not too high? already the top 10% pays for the 70% of the taxes. Obama said that the key number is $250,000 later that is $200,000 now is $142,000 god's know what is going to be after one week from now? About the Clinton surplus it was good on paper but the real story was the economical turmoil just before he left office in 2000, and if Obama wins and everything is going to be the same way why vote for him after all I though that he was the "change that we need" right?

  • Well, I haven't heard Obama ever lower his "anyone making under $250,000..." price but using that as a point sounds good. I don't believe Obama as president is going to raise taxes on the middle class any more than it should. The rich will be taxed more but it will still be affordable for them. IMO the Clinton surplus sounded good and looked good. Don't remember having any complaints. Maybe I am biased, but the Clinton years were good, wouldn't mind another like him as president.

  • Lying is a kind term for he's full of shit. He lied his ass off on the ACORN topic in a way to make any shyster proud. Their campaign "never gave a gime to ACORN to register voters"LMAO! They did not, rather they gave it to a shill of ACORN and thought no one would call them out on it.

Just like Obama "barely" knew convicted felon Tony Rezko, admitted terrorist Bill Ayers, and Racist hate-mongering Rev. Jerimiah Wright. A man is judged by the company he keeps.

  • Biden kicked her sorry ass.

  • When Biden asks her "Who writes your questions?" She should have turned it around on him and asked "Who writes your answers?" Sorry, I know that the person who posted this video thinks that Biden looks good here, but he really comes across looking like a fool.

  • Here's the problem. It wasn't so much the SUBSTANCE of the questions as it was the tone. Watch this same reporter's interview with McCain on 10/14. Total softball, she did everything but offer to blow him. Compare that to the Biden interview, where she basically used McCain campaign talking points, and phrased the questions in the most incendiary way possible.

Oh, one more thing, this "unbiased reporter" is married to Wade West, GOP media consultant, I'm sure she has no agenda.

  • Maybe she herself likes McCain better. I agree that her tone was not very friendly, but Biden should be able to answer these questions without being condescending. Did you see the contrast in interviews between Obama and McCain on the View? Barbara Walters actually called Obama sexy.

  • "Maybe she herself likes McCain better."

That's exactly the problem. Real journalists are not supposed to SHOW bias. Ask all the hardball questions you want, but if you want yourself to be considered a serious journalist, you can't use one campaign's talking points in an incendiary way to question the other candidates. Then you're just another pundit.

  • "contrast in interviews between Obama and McCain on the View?"

Speaks directly to my point. The View is an op-ed show, and none of the people on it, (except for Baba Wawa), has ever been considered a serious journalist. In her capacity on that show, even she is not acting as a journalist, she's acting more as a host. When you call yourself a journalist, you're not supposed to show your biases, as opposed to opinion/pundit shows.

  • I agree. What was Charles Gibson's tone when interviewing Sarah Palin? Chris matthews admitting "feeling a tingle crawling up his leg" when Obama speaks. Nope, no bias there.

  • "Charles Gibson's tone when interviewing Sarah Palin?"

If you watch the whole interview, at least to me, he seemed like Charlie Gibson. Pretty much monotone, not condescending, or combative. Typical Gibson. He didn't display bias at all, didn't even really ask any arguable "hardball" questions.

"Chris matthews admitting "feeling a tingle crawling up his leg" when Obama speaks. Nope, no bias there."

Matthews IS biased, but as I stated before, he's not pretending to be a journalist.

  • Really? That's interesting because it seemed to me that her tone was that of a journalist looking to get answers to fair questions.

Who wouldn't have asked Biden what the hell he meant by the whole "mark my works in 6 months..."

She sounded more like Edward F. Murrow than many of the so-caled "journalists"

How about Dan Rather, any bias there putting a bullshit story on 60 Minutes then after being exposed as a LIE he refused to accept he put a FORGERY on t.v and he KNEW it!

  • "Edward F. Murrow"

His name was Edward R. Murrow, and if you think he took combative tones like that with people he interviewed, then you've obviously never heard any of his radio addresses. He is the absolute measure of journalistic integrity, and would not have EVER taken the tone West did with a VP candidate.

When you look however, at who and what Murrow was most critical of, Joe McCarthy, and McCarthyism in general, the principle of which was constant fear peddling. Sound familiar?

  • McCartyism? Let's put this into present day situations shall we? Imagine if A large group of hollywood actors, t.v journalists, authors and intellectuals were secretly members aof Al Queda...oh wait they are nevermind.

The real "outrage" wasn't that these elitists were communists, they admitted as much, but rather they were EXPOSED as such. Gee, what an "outrage".

  • dalmatian847 is a retard

  • You want "Real journalistic" bias, look no further to the L.A Times refusing to release that tape. Do you have any clue how your fearless leader won his Senate seat in the first place. By so-called real journalists exposing in the 11th hour, a domestic battery charge against his Democratic competitor Blair Hull, then going into court SEALED divorce records for his Republican challenger, Jack Ryan.

So please spare me the b.s about so called "journalistic integrity" and objectivity.

  • Are you also aware that the Obama camp has denied any further interviews to this station until after the election? If, as you said the substance of the questions were fine, then why would they say no more interviews?

  • "denied any further interviews"

As they should have. If you want your candidates to be interviewed on op-ed shows, there's plenty of those to go around. If she had played hardball with McCain the same way, the Obama camapign wouldn't have a leg to stand on in cancelling future interviews. Problem is, when you think you're being interviewed by a journalist, and it turns out to be a pundit, that's dirty pool, and campaigns tend to punish stations when they engage in this kind of activity.

  • "you said the substance of the questions were fine"

Remember when Sarah Palin was asked by Charlie Gibson if she agreed with the Bush Doctrine? The McCain campaign went NUTS screaming how that was "gotcha" journalism, when in fact, it seemed perfectly legitimate to assume that the Rebublican candidate for VP would at least know what that was...

When someone is a real journalist, like say, Tim Russert was, you know they HAVE a bias, but they tend not to display it. That's the difference.

  • ...and Chris Matthews of "Hardball" admitted getting a "tingle in his leg" everytime Obama speaks. How many "hardball" questions do you think he asks of Democrats??? Whaere's the bias there?

  • "and Chris Matthews of "Hardball" "

Apples and oranges. As I said before, people like Matthews, Olbermann, Maddow, Hannity, O'Reilly, et al ARE NOT JOURNALISTS!!! They are pundits. There is a MASSIVE difference. Pundits give op-ed positions, tainted with their obvious biases. Journalists, on the other hand, are supposed to do unbiased reporting, and let the FACTS bring you in whatever direction they bring you, regardless of the outcome.

  • So please show me where these so-called journalists actually acted likw journalists and asked a question that the Obama campaign wasn't prepped for in advance?

What so-called journalist has ever asked Biden when he stated "Obama lacked the experience to be President" and "this position does not lend itself to on the job training". A kid writing for the school paper would have asked that one.

Dan Rather was a "real journalist" was he not when he put that story about Bush on 60 Minutes?

  • Dan Rather, real journalist who didn't get FACTS get in way of a partisan LIE on the whole 60 Minutes debacle.

Did this woman ask Biden to describe "The Obama Doctrine" or what his favorite piece of legislation Obama passed in the Illinois Senate? Of course we all know he passed NOTHING and did NOTHING for 4 years in the U.S Senate.

Apperently asking Biden any question other than what his favorite flavor at Baskin Robbins counts as bias in your eyes.

  • "Did this woman ask Biden to describe "The Obama Doctrine""

No, because there's no such thing, as opposed to Palin being asked if she agrees with the Bush doctrine, which does, in fact, exist, and one would think that the person running for the VP position of the SAME PARTY as the incumbent president would know what it is. In fact, VERY few people get a 'doctrine' named after them unless they're sitting presidents. Colin Powell is one such person, but that's a separate story.

  • He misrepresented the the Bush Doctrine. You would ASSUME that a distinguished D.C "journalist" would know the answer to the question he's quizzing his guest on. He did not.

So when Biden is asked on Obama's "redistribution of wealth ideas echo of Marxism" that's a problem?

No doctrine yet from B.O, but he definately has a Manifesto.

  • "did NOTHING for 4 years in the U.S Senate."

Great talking point from Fox's pundits, but factually incorrect. In all, he has sponsored or co-sponsored, 1218 different pieces of legislation, or amendments to legislation.

"LIE on the whole 60 Minutes debacle"

Rather screwed himself, and it cost him his career. That letter was a fabrication, and Rather let it go without factchecking it. He allowed his perceived discovery of scandal get in the way of his objectivity. Just Like Barbara West.

  • What was "unfactual" about anything that Barbara West said? However, I noticed no comment on the out and out lies Biden responded with. Perhaps you might want to factcheck the $800,000 the Obama campaign gave an ACORN subsidiary. If ACORN was such a "non-partisan" entity, why exactly is the Obama campaign going out of it's way to deny any ties to it?

Rather LIED and finally went to far with his bias. That letter was a fabrication, show me what Barbara West fabricated?

  • You must think you're dealing with a novice here. His name was added on legislation as is D.C tradition. Hard to pass legislation when you've got a campaign to run. What was his attendance record in the U.S Senate, check those facts.

I'm wise to the cesspool of Chicago politics because I happen live here. Obama as a state senator VOTED present 130 TIMES. Now there's an achievement. When left with a question that requires a yes or no, he votes "here".

    Obama= Change, Chicago -style.
