@thebesties246 It's not that I don't make them anymore. I just am sick always (autoimmune disease and other health problems) and have been trying to do bracelets and general crafts spaced out.

I was pretty bored of being a one trick pony so I started to switch back and forth between crafts and bracelets. The reason it looks like I've quit is probably because being sick means I don't post all that often.

Ok so when you say 60 inches, does that mean you fold them over and have approx 30 inches of string to work with/ And if so, do you just ties a simple knot after they are folded over?

@pawndave Yes, you tie an overhand knot so the fold becomes a loop.

@smexyjessy21 Not really, if you want to do multiple colors check the "Multicolor Alpha" tutorial. It might be useful to you and you may be able to substitute the alpha tie on method to make this in to a multiple color.

@hannakimmy123 If I back up more you'd see even less. Just search for "the four types of knots" and learn. Once you know them that is all you need to know. Once you memorize the four types you can follow easily as I say exactly what knots to make.

@thepartytimes Yeah. Two knots on each string, with 7 strings in the end it would in theory be 14 knots.

In friendship bracelet making two "4" knots make up one full knot.

@CreamyfulPuff Depends, is it too short or too long?

If it's too long you could always clip the knots on the braids and undo some of the bracelet, then re-do the braids. If it's too short there's not much you could do other than buy some crimp ends and then add a chain with a clasp perhaps.

@faithp2011 Substitute the blue strands for more green. You'll need to have 4 of one color, don't put them together though or you won't have a bordered box, just a plain box.

@coppermine2010 You'd have to elongate the pattern. More strings = More pattern. Check friendship-bracelets(dot)net for "boxes" or something along those lines... maybe you'll find a similar pattern.

@iluffmyselfohyeah Making mixed knots, keeping them in order, pulling them properly and lastly counting out the steps. That's pretty much all you need to do in order to succeed with this one.
